this evening -- the gunman is on the loose. good evening -- and thanks for joining us. i'm christopher king. the shooting -- taking place early this morning -- just outside the silver nugget casino in north las vegas. 13 action news reporter -- gina lazara is live outside the casino -- with the lastest. gina? christopher -- there's some left over crime scene tape signs but that's really the only proof of any shooting or homicide from this morning. police say there was a big crowd in the parking lot and tensions were high before shots were fired. witnesses told our early morning crew that the group was playing craps in parking lot here outside the silver nugget. police would not officially confirm that but said they were looking into if the group was playing a game and gambling outside the building.

were shot and killed. there is no suspect in custody right now and police have not released a suspect or vehicle description. reporting live gina lazara 13 action news. a teenager is shot and wounded during a fight. it happened just a short time ago -- near fort apache and farm road. the teen was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.. no word on a suspect. it's been a de valley streets. an elderly man -- hit and killed by a car -- near las vegas boulevard and lake mead. police say -- the man was hit trying to cross the street with a walker. he died at a local hospital. the driver -- is cooperating with investigators. police say -- the victim was not using a cross walk at the time. one man is dead -- after this horrific crash. another is behind bars. police say -- pedro regalado- carenas -- slammed his car into the back of a flatbed truck. juan manuel jiminez-lopez --

seat of the car. he died at the scene. the truck driver was not hurt. authorities arrested regaldo- cardenas and charged him with dui . family and friends of woman murdered in north las vegas -- are trying to pay for her funeral. they held a car wash this afternoon for wendy rodriguez. she was found dead on friday -- inside a home near rancho and bonanza. right now -- police are still searching for jaime santana. he's the main suspect. authorities say -- he was last a wildfire -- burning near the utah border turns deadly. a firefighter from vermont -- killed -- battling flames in great basin park. that's just south of ely. a falling tree -- slamming into justin bebe. he later died from his injuries. the strawberry fire -- as it's called -- broke out on monday -- burning nearly 5-thousand acres. a massive wildfire continues to burn out of control in northern california. the fire doubling in size overnight-- forcing nearly

their homes. flames -- destroying four houses. residents are growing weary of this fire season -- that never seems to send.
