seven. thousands of people are suffering. entire neighborhoods are still under water.. and... the rain continues to fall. this video is making international headlines. you may have seen this. a louisiana hero.... jumps in..... to save a woman and her dog..... trapped in a sinking car. this is just incredible. we're hearing from him tonight.... for the first time. i just took a deep breath, held it an around and eventually felt something furry and yanked the dog out. luckily the dog was still conscious." rescue crews are hard at work again.... today.... in louisiana... that's coming up... later.... this half hour. an out-of control wildfire is tearing across northern california. these are the latest images coming out of lake county. at this hour.. it is still growing.. fueled by heat and wind.

where a heat wave is taknig did we hit a record. the first of three systems that will affect area weather this week is currently passing to our north and will keep things breezy tonight. breezy winds will stay in the forecast tomorrow as another small system starts to push into the area. high temps will drop to 107 tuesday and wednesday and we'll stay in the breezy category as that system continues to push east. a larger pacific system will make its way down the california coast and start to push moisture and more cloud cover our way starting thursday afternoon. by friday we'll start to see a thursday, 102 on friday and saturday and 101 on sunday. by monday the system will start to push inland off the southern california coast and will improve our chances for rain to start next workweek. u-sain bolt and michael phelps winds will stay in the forecast tomorrow as another small system starts to push into the area. high temps will drop to 107 tuesday and wednesday and we'll
