bryan. we've been out at this intersection for about two hours now. the water is starting to receive some when i first got out here the water was up to mid thigh. just take a little video he ran there were six cars stuck in the water including an ambulance. most of those cars buried so deep under the water did you see their license plates. as the water receded a work

they were last seen.... in a dark- clored.... -4- door sedan. if you recognize them... give police a call. the exterminator who was stung hundreds of times by bees earlier this month.. has died. jose moreno-pacheco had been in critical condition since it happened august 4th near russell and fort apache while he was investigating a bee hive. we're told he passed away last thursday. tonight.... women across the valley are being warned.... to keep their guard up. police say.... a man robbed -5- women.... overnight... and eh he got away with only one thing. their purse. the robberies happened.... in both las vegas and north las vegas.... from walmart to 7-eleven.....even an apartment complex. and police say... he used a gun.... during all - 5- robberies. i'm not gonna take her for late night walks when i can't sleep anymore that's for sure and i'm not going to take her until the sun comes up police say... they don't have a definite description of the gunman... at the time. we're following new

blue cut fire is now about 90% contained. authorities have also lifted evacuation orders in several areas.. but dozens of families don't have a home to return to. more than 100 homes were destroyed by the fire.. which also charred about 37-thousand acres. some of the unsung heroes during this tragedy have been an elite group of firefighters known as 'smokejumpers.' they parachute into the wildfires to reach remote locations.. then start building firelines to keep the fire from growing. they b water and tools to survive for days. it's an extremely dangerous job that pays $15-dollars an hour. new tonight. a decked out pick up truck was stolen.... from the venetian parking garage..... early yesterday morning. thanks to the power of social media and good samaritans... it was recovered.... -36- hours later! 13 action news reporter..... gina lazara met with the victim.... as he was getting his truck back. and... has this wild story for us. gina?

all the last day and half....in order to get back pete daforno's truck. one of the men responsible for helping to get it back was going 104 miles per hour at one point....just to keep up with the thief. i first met pete daforno and his wife amber sunday night. both of them extremely a 2004 f-250 crew cab red pick up truck with 20-thousand dollars worth of modifications. truck with 20-thousand dollars worth of modifications. pete says his truck was stolen from the venetian parking parking it sunday morning. now 36 hours later -- pete is reunited with his baby. pete: "surprised, happy and i feel violated." me: "violated?" pete: "yeah i feel violated. like i'm happy to get the truck back but just yeah it's crazy" this facebook post about pete's stolen truck was shared hundreds of times over the last day and a half.

a glimpse -- you know you flip through your phone and go oh that really sucks that's somebody's truck" gary gardner remembered that facebook post when he was out driving this drove it like it was his. he wasn't racing or doing anything until he realized i was up behind him" gary was going 104 miles per hour to try and stay with the thief. but lost him when he made an illegal u- turn over a median. a guy name ben takes it from there. anthony: "my friend was just driving down sahara, just stopped at the stop light here and happened to see the back of the roof ah-ha moment. ben called pete's brother. moments later -- family...friends and even police were here near sahara and maryland parkway to recover the truck. pete: "he's lucky he got away. he's that lucky he got away" the craziness doesn't stop there. a worker from one of the businesses near by says their security cameras caught the thief parking the truck this afternoon.... the video shows him changing his clothes inside the truck....and even putting on a curly blonde wig on before running away.

upset, yeah, i mean, i thought about it, but i didn't know y'all would show up like this quick, but, you know, we got it taken care of so everything should be good. we've got two imminent health hazard closures to talk about. nutrition rush snack bar on tropicana and decatur was shut down for failing reinspection. there were multiple repeat violations including expired protein powder from february, yogurt at unsafe temperatures, malfunctioning equipment and mops draining down bathroom walls onto floors. nutrition rush management scheduled the reinspection, but continued non-compliance--and lack of managerial control over risk factors for foodborne illness. the second imminent health hazard closure was the luxor casino service bar. it was shut down for not having hot water. there was also a visibly dirty fruit press and olives stored underneath a fly trap. darcy tag: eatopia, nutrition rush and the luxor service bar have all reopened with a grades. darcy spears, 13 action news.
