3 people overdosed in one house..and one man overdoses while driving through an intersection. in another case, a man overdosed with his child in the car at a gas station. authorities say most of the calls came from the same part of town. fire crews say they worked to could. the heroin problem continues to plague cities across the country. more than 100 americans die from drug overdoses each day. emergency officials are on high alert in downtown los angeles after nearly twenty people overdosed on a drug presumed to be synthetic marijuana --or spice. it happened monday in the skid row area -- where drug use is widespread among the homeless population. this isn't the first outbreak there-- on friday, fifty people were checked out by
