it's something for teenage girls. but now... the c-d-c says... more teenage boys are getting the vaccine.... than ever. 13 action news anchor.... dayna roselli spoke with a teen... who got the shot... and... a doctor who says... it's not just teens.... who should be considering it. --take nat:-- "gabe and his mom outside talking" it's been two years since gabe fine got the h-p-v vaccine as a senior in high school. now, as a junior in college, he's glad he did. --gabe fine/received hpv vaccine-- --04:53:49-57-- --i feel good that i got it yeh probably i don't have to worry about you know?-- more teenage boys are joining gabe and getting the vaccine. take graphic: according to the centers for disease control, 49.8 percent of boys ages 13 to 17 received at least one of the three recommended doses as of 2015. that's up 8 percentage points from 2014. the rate for teen girls didn't increase as quickly. nearly 63 percent had gotten at least one dose, compared to 60 percent in 2014. the c-d-c says around 30,000

research has shown those concerns to be unfounded. right now the vaccine comes in we're following a big developing story out of florida right now as hurricane hermine makes landfall along the gulf coast. mandatory evacuations have already been ordered for several coastal communities ahead of the category-1 storm. hermine is arriving sith strong rainfall. but one of the biggest concerns is the storm surge.. which is expected to be 12-feet high along some parts of the coast. the outer bands of the storm.. which started moving through hours ago.. have left streets flooded and homes damaged. many people chose to get out of town.. but others spent the day boarding up windows and throwing down sandbags to ride it out. sot tammy cain you know when you live in florida, this is

anything safe. it's mother nature." there are also concerns the hurricane will spawn tornadoes as it tracks across florida and moves north into georgia and the carolinas. hermine becomes the first hurricane to make landfall in florida in more than a decade. drier air will push the monsoon moisture out of nevada overnight tonight. this will allow mostly clear skies over the las vegas valley to take hold and allow the temperatures to drop back to the lower 80s/upper 70s. still a little above the normal. friday afternoon we will keep a slight chance of monsoon storms but the valley should remain dry friday. winds will pick up again in the afternoon with gusts up to 25 mph. the weekend will be dry and nice in southern nevada. we will see highs drop to 95 by sunday and see plenty of sunshine. winds will pick up to around 20 mph both saturday and sunday with gusts up to 25 mph possibly 30 mph. labor day itself is looking like the coolest days of the week with highs below 95
