the woman was taken to university meidical center with life threatening injuries -- where she later died. the motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. north las vegas police say it doesn't appear that alcohol or speed is a factor. police tell us she wasn't in the crosswalk at the time of the crash. the latest now on a story we first broke on ktnv.com- a henderson couple is dead in an apparent murder-suicide. police are at the scene invest 13 action news reporter bryan callahan is live near anthem highlands parkway and democracy with the details. henderson police found the couple dead at the home around six tonight. officers were initially called here to check on the couple. they found the couple dead with gunshot wounds inside the home. police say the couple is in their late 30s or early 40s. at this point they say it appears to be a murder-suicide.

hundreds of thousands of people from north florida to virginia. an escaped murder suspect is caught on camera firing shots into an office at an aparment complex. in july -- alonso perez approached the office of the apartments where he lived near lake mead and nellis as he fought with his girlfriend. the manager wouldn't let them in and perez fired nine shots at the building. this all happened before perez was taken in by police as a murder suspect. last week he escaped custody... and his old apart says he's a danger to society. "this guy just has no regard for life at all." "anyone out there right now that he runs into, even if he's smiling, don't approach him." north las vegas police agree-- saying perez is armed and dangerous. he has a small tattoo of the "air jordan" logo on his neck. police are searching for the gunman tonight who shot a woman

street and fremont last night around 10:30. she was rushed to umc where doctors say she is expected to survive. no word from metro on what led to the shooting. police in bullhead city have arrested a man they say set off several bombs around town! this is philip krikorian junior. police say two weeks ago he detonated an explosive device in an alleyway. a business in the area reported another explosive device was set off a few days prior. now detectives are trying to figure out whether krikorian is connected explosion that damaged a mobile home. a tip led officers to the suspect. the first woman elected to the powerful clark county commission governing the las vegas area has died. today, the clark county coroner's office confirmed that thalia dondero died yesterday of heart failure. dondero was 96 years old. your voice.. your vote in the race for the white house..

ride safety... two incidents are under investigation right now... just the latest in a string of carnival accidents making headlines this summer. a dozen people.. mostly children.. recovering from two fair accidents in two states over the holiday weekend.
