charleston and palm with new information. bryan. north las vegas police have now taken over the scene here at e apartment where alonso perez was arrested after a weekend long manhunt. the arrest was made by the criminal apprehension team. it was all done undercover and metro says perez was taken into custody without perez was originally arrested friday morning for the august 27th murder of mohammed robinson. detectives took perez back to the north las vegas police detectives bureau where they say he twisted and broke out of his handcuffs. he then slipped out of the office before officers say he stole a truck. every police department in the valley has been hunting for perez... as officers made him their top

13 action news is uncovering..... disturbing details.... about the valley's latest murder-suicide in henderson. apparently... the wife killed was trying to get away.... from the shooter. police say.... she was in the process of moving out of her anthem highlands home... but.... when she went back to the home..... to get some of her stuff.... her husband killed her and then himself. police tell us.... the woman leaves behind.... two children ages... -14- and -9-. new surveillance video.. jut tonight.. metro is looking for this man. take a look... investigators say he robbed two businesses at gunpoint on august 29th near durango and desert inn.. and got away with some cash and merchandise. if you recognize the suspect.. or have any infromation.. call metro right away. tomorrow marks.... -4- months.... since -55- year old..... clay stampley was killed....

intersection. tonight... his killer.... still on the loose..... and... clay's family believes... he left the country! 13 action news reporter.... gina lazara.... has thea story. 55-year old clay stampley's life was taken in this hit an run crash near cheyenne and simmons four months ago. since then....clay's family has been put through the ringer. north las vegas police said the suspect -- qaadir issam amin the second -- posted this facebook selfie of his injuries moments after the crash. then the family learned clay's crash scene memorial was destroyed. and now....facebook shw may have left the country. veronica dillard "these people are out celebrating and enjoying life while we are still dealing with a lost one. so it's really heart breaking for us to see those kinds of things" veronica dillard is a cousin of the victim.... she's been monitoring the suspect's facebook page ever since the fatal crash.

food, including multiple seafood items, cheese and beans that should have been tossed more than a week before the inspection. but it was all still sitting in the fridge. there was also lots of food that had to be thrown out because of unsafe temperatures. utensils that hadn't been washed since the day before. and the stove had excessive build-up. the person in charge couldn't tell the inspector the last /nat transition/ of the four imminent health hazard closures, the grossest pictures came from the food truck that serves as the pool snack bar at the plaza hotel casino. it was shut down for lack of adequate refrigeration. just about every food in the facility was at an unsafe temperature. plus, inspectors found multiple foods with "severe signs of spoilage." there's a salad made with feta cheese and cucumber at the top of the menu. but cucumbers on the truck were

and their large container of feta cheese had expired in february. the oscar burger comes topped with arugula, but that was wilted, brown and deteriorating. /nat/ another food truck--joseph's express care catering--also known as el borotazo tortas ahogadas--was also shut down for lack of adequate refrigeration. /nat/ urban turban - a seasonal set-up at the linq - was shut down for four separate health hazards. their power they had no hot water. refrigeration wasn't adequate and employees had no properly working sink to wash their hands. /nat/ last on the list, supreme lobster--a seafood distributor on polaris and ponderosa--was shut down for no hot water. they were processing fish in the midst of this imminent health hazard. there was also a soiled mesh scrubber in the shellfish cutting room, peeling ceiling

tanks were in severe disrepair with chipping paint and disintegrating wood. darcy tag: cantina cancun grill is back to an a grade. all the places that were closed have reopened with a grades as well. darcy spears, 13 action news. a disabled vietnam veteran reached out to us last week saying a broken elevator could cost him his life. when we found out.. the complex promised to have it fixed today. but when it still wasn't working.. we went in to get some answers. (you guys took th that said out of service, which led me to believe it was back in service, but it's not) we're not allowed to answer any questions, i'm sorry so.. even though the 'out of service' sign was gone.. the elevator still didnt work. the americans with disabilities act requires buildings with three or more floors to have a working elevator. however.. a-d-a codes aren't always enforced because each county has its own codes. 13 action news will continue to follow this story until the elevator is fixed.
