what was going on. police say this man.. michael lewis.. shot 4 motorists during a string of 10 shootings. investigators were led to him because of his arrest for another crime. "being thorough they got a search warrant, search his house found a weapon and then matched that weapon to shell casings found at their scenes." in phoenix, however.. police are still trying to track down another serial shooter who has killed 7 people and wounded 2 others. they recently released a sketch of the so-called 'serial street shooter.' his youngest victim was a 12-year old girl who was shot and killed while sitting in a car with her mother with another woman who was also killed. there is now a 75-thousand dollar reward for information leading to his arrest. phoenix police are also investigating a seperate deadly highway shooting. police say someone shot and killed a woman while she was on the phone with 9- 1-1. she was driving alone and said

and believed they were targetting her. while she was on the phone.. the dispatcher heard several gunshots. ( sgt. jonathan howard / phoenix police ) "while she was on the phone with 911, the dispatcher heard about three gunshots and the call was ended." when the victim lost control of her car.. it touched-off a chain reaction crash involving four vehicles. a woman in another car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. police don't know why the truck was following the shooting victim. chicago police are on the hunt todayfo who shot a 71 year-old man in broad daylight... surveillance video shows him watering his lawn when two young men on the bikes ride past him....moments later one of the men returns...wrestles him to the ground and shoots him before taking off with his wallet. sot - "i heard the gunshots and i ran out here.. and he was like dazed in the street" he is now recovering from the gunshot wound and is in fair condition. this latest shooting highlights

chicago.. so far, there have been nearly 3-thousand shootings and more than 5-hundred murders. guards at the holmes correctional institution in florda say they have things under control after inmates began rioting. no officers were hurt...one inmate was injured. some inmates involved were transferred to other facilities. the action is believed to be part of a nationwide prisoner strike planned for tommorrow...the 45th anniversary of the attica prison riot. lieutenant has been found not guilty of attempted murder in ohio.. but still convicted on lesser charges. investigators say frank ramirez was involved in the assault of a woman in 2014. he was convicted of obstructing justice and tampering with evidence. the former officer was also accused of helping a man try to kill a woman . he now faces up to 6 years in prison. air china says it has removed all copies of an in-flight magazine that's been slammed

magazine...warned london visitors about going to neighborhoods with large populations of "indians, pakistanis and black pe." the warning set off protess and prompted a british awmaker to demand an apology. air china eventually apologized and has recalled the magazine a california woman is demanding some answers after she found a stolen photo of her on at least two jars.. requesting donations to pay for a funeral. the mother of lupita gonzalez was alerted th the scam by concerned relatives who live nearby. gonzalez says the picture was taken off her facebook page. she's now asking for people to stop donating.. and police are looking for the person responsible. danny tarkanian's carrying a lot of baggage. as a real-estate developer, tarkanian was penalized for failing to pay thousands in property taxes. tarkanian was ordered by a judge to repay $17 million in a failed development scheme. tarkanian refused to pay the money back, forcing taxpayers to bail him out, leaving us holding the bag.

the school is still being cleaned and decontaminated after yesterday's hazmat scare. we could see former n-f-l quarterback tim tebow on the baseball diamond here in the valley. the new york mets have signed tebow to a minor league contract.. and the las vegas 51's are the mets' triple-a affiliate. the 29-year-old hasn't played competitive baseball since high school.. but took part in an open tryout league scouts. nothing makes a parent happier than a sign that they're raising their kids right. take a look. heather nelson and her 5-year-old son, royce, were running late to school last week... so she was surprised when he suddenly stopped and bowed his head. a nearby officer pointed out to her that he was acknowledging the pledge of allegiance. nelson snapped this photo and posted it on facebook.-- and of course it has gone viral.

vehicles are moving. the affected vehicles are here on your screen. dealers will replace the latches for free. wells fargo has been hit with an 185- million-dollar fine for opening millions of unauthorized accounts in order to satisfy sales goals. 53-hundred employees have been fired for it. as part of an agreement with regulators, wells fargo will also compensate customers who had to pay fees or charges for investigators say thousands of employees at wells fargo opened accounts and moved funds that led to customers being charged. disney world in orlando is tightening up on ticket fraud. in an effort to keep people from sharing tickets.. children will now be required to have their fingers scanned before entering the park. parents who don't like the idea can have their own fingers scanned instead. disney says it doesn't store the fingerprints and the scans are deleted.
