many of them--killed while trying to save others-- rushing in as everyone else was trying to get out. and for one family-- they suffered the loss of not one--but two sons. one a police detective, the other a firefighter. "to me it's 9/11, 2001," john vigiano said. "it's not 2016." for john and his wife virginia, the day is filled with indescribable pain. the deer park couple who lost their only children 15 years ago have yet to visit the 9/11 museum, and they have yet to memorial service. and that will not change this year. "it hurts too much," virginia said. "they were lazy," he said. president obama and former president bush recorded this special 9/11 message for n-f-l fans... it ran before each game, followed by a moment of silence at all stadiums. tonight the nation is remembering the victims' loved ones they lost that day. some family members--- were little kids back then, whose fathers perished in the terrorist attack. fifteen years later, they speak about the fathers they never got to know. their fathers were killed on 9/11, and 15 years later they carry a message: look at us, more resilient than ever. to the terrorists, they say, on the 105th floor of the world trade center's north tower, where he worked for cantor fitzgerald. i covered the aftermath -- of the terror attacks. it was surreal. the twin towers -- just massive of downtown manhattan's financial district. there were no cars on the streets. but --there was a steady stream of people -- looking for their loved ones. an older woman walked up to me -- holding a picture -- of her son. he worked in the twin towers. she asked me if knew anything about him. i did not. then there was a construction worker -- bear of a man. like so many brave new yorkers -- he worked -- digging through the wreckage. he broke down crying -- like so many americans did -- and still do -- as we remember -- one of
