federal investigators are now looking into what exactly went wrong. a 13 action news update now -- this man you see here -- a murder suspect is now off the streets., asa brown is behind bars in the phoenix area of arizona. police there took him into custody yesterday. the 22 year old was identified as the suspect in a deadly shooting from friday morning. investigators believe brown and the victim got into an arguement at some apartments near maryland parkway and d-i.... leading to the gunfire. be on high alert for this wannabe armed robber. metro tells us he went into a business near tropicana and nellis last month-- and immediately pulled a gun on the employees. he demanded money from the registers-- but the workers ran away as soon as they saw the gun. the man left empty handed. if you see him in a business-- call police immediately. right now -- officials in florida are working to determine whether an overnight

the e-p-a is expected to provide an update on that mercury scare at walter johnson junior high. chopper 13 fast and first over the school where classes are canceled again today. today.. parents and students have been picking up belongings that have been checked and cleared. officials say they've also cleared all the classrooms.. and have moved to the gym and locker rooms. they're also visiting homes where the students' clothing tested positive for mercury including one house that was evacuated. i'm kind of scared to go to school tomorrow cause i don't know what's going on lately cause we haven't gotten any calls or anything." officials are planning a 4pm news conference to provide an update on the situation. you can see it live on-air.. and at ktnv.com. now let's send things over to 13 first alert meteorologist karla huelga. she's in the weather center right now keeping tabs on the strong winds today.
