good evening -- and welcome to a special-- pre-game edition of 13 action news. i'm christopher king. that standoff -- near flamingo and tamarus -- ending just moments ago. 13-action new reporter -- marti glaser -- fast and first to the scene. marti -- what have you learned? we are here at east flamingo and tamaras as metro along with negotiators and the swat team have diffused a standoff - metro says they got the call dispute that quickly escalated into the male suspect barricading himself inside the residence with a machete just down the street from here. the victim who were are told is his girlfriend is 9 months pregnant was able to get out . she did not sustain any injuries and was taken to a local hospital for medical issues unrelated to the standoff. the block has been closed for hours.
