someone, maybe they will pass that along or others will see it and it will get passed along" so they raised 400 bucks -- bought the flags --- and installed the pole over the weekend. gary gardner, american breed leader "if they don't like your 5 foot flag, we're gonna put a 20 foot flag. if they break your wooden stick, we're gonna put a steal stick" ashley tindle, had her flag vandalized "that's what i believe in and that's what i vandalizing the american flag was arrested for petit larceny and is still behind bars tonight. she is expected to be heard in court tomorrow morning. your voice.. your vote in the race for the white house. election day is only 7 weeks from today.. and according to our new exclusive 13-action news/ rasmussen poll.. nevada is living up to its reputation as a battleground state. 13-action news political analyst jon ralston has a look at the latest numbers.. giving donald trump a slight edge. nevada, again is one of the most important states in the race for the president...polls...

room tax increase. we spoke with a unlv political science professor about the drastic difference. 01:34 in this case, if you looked at the questions, they're very different questions. one of them uses the raiders and gives the total public contribution of $750 million dollars, the other one just talks about a domed stadium and talks about the small increase in the room tax. 01:51: so it's very very different prompts that people are going to be cueing on if th issue. you can see the results of both polls at ktnv.com. a world war-2 vet says he being held hostage by his country club that won't let him leave. 1:45 martha: it doesn't make sense to me, i mean, what do they want him to do? wind up dead and then he can resign? bury my son 12 i dont want to bury my son for the negligence of ofthers 21.17

what kind of person would misuse the topic of rape in a political campaign? joe heck, that's who. the truth is, as attorney general, catherine cortez masto led the fight against crimes like sexual assault and worked with republicans and democrats to make sure rape kits were administered for victims. but in washington, congressman joe heck voted against funding for rape kits. joe heck. lying about rape. part of the problem in washington. i'm catherine cortez masto and i approve this message. charlotte ...what you are actually seeing is i-85. and as you can see that is dozens of people actually blocking the road....some cars have been turning around going in the opposite direction to avoid protestors.. police have been using tear gas to try to thin the crowds but still a lot of people out there. a world war-2 veteran says he's

he's trying to leave. he says it's not because he wants to.. but he has to stop playing the sport he loves. as contact 13 chief investigator darcy spears explains.. him dearly.. but not in the form of medical bills. 6:03:42 nats looking at pic: while i was in boot camp, they dropped the bomb. bernie pachter is no stranger to adversity. the 88-year-old world war two veteran is a self-made man who worked hard to make life comfortable for his family. and afford a golf club membership in retirement. 5:12 darcy looking at picture: how do you feel about that swing? bernie: eh, it wasn't

there's nothing he'd like more... 58:58 it's great! it's exciting!... than to continue cruising the fairway at anthem country club... 58:59 i love golf!... where he's been a member for the past 10 years. 6:00:18 martha pachter: i would like to say next to me he loves golf most of all. 6:12:36 darcy stand-up with golf clubs: the house is filled with memories of a lifetime playing golf, but there are no more new memories to be made, because unfortunately, that part of bernie's life is over. /13:12 nats putting club back in golf bag tight shot / 49:59 bernie: i almost passed out on and i just had such unbelievable pain. in march, his doctor wrote this letter telling him to "discontinue playing golf immediately" as it is worsening his condition and putting him at risk for serious harm. the doctor writes, "i do not foresee that you will be able to resume this sport at your age and in your condition. i would therefore like to

golf club membership." 51:07 bernie: you can't just resign. there are ways to quit. but they all cost money. that's right. you have to pay to walk away. 51:15 bernie: the first way is give us $1,000, we're gonna put you on a list. a deposit that is refundable. for every three new memberships sold, the top one on that list gets to quit the club. 51:53 bernie: so that meant that i could be a member there for another 2-2 1/2 years paying them almost $1,000 a month and not being able to play golf. good! there were a few other options, including paying $7,500 to walk away, and he admits it's all in the club contract he signed 10 years ago. 53:32 bernie: and i never gave it a thought. my stupidity perhaps, but whatever the case may be, i was wrong. i should've known that i had to pay to resign, but i didn't. at this point, it's not a
11:18 pm
principle. 6:00:46 martha: he said, it's not right. at least if they would listen to me! and really that's all he wanted. they turned their backs on him and walked away. that's not the way to treat a fellow human being. bernie asked to speak to the anthem board, but says they refused. 55:11 bernie: i was really angry. and that's what prompted me to say this is ridiculous. they also declined our requests for an on-camera interview. the general manager did meet with bernie after contact 13 involved, but nothing changed. 56:25 bernie: this is your options. take them or leave them. so i stopped paying dues. they're still billing him for that $900 a month, but he's not paying up anymore. the board sent us this five- page letter saying they don't consider this story newsworthy and they're not in the business of offering "special deals to some members at the expense of others." g.m. jonathan clay writes, "we have
11:19 pm
members have requested relief due to medical conditions, and although we are not unsympathetic to those situations, our policy does not allow for exceptions in these circumstances." darcy stand-up with club rule book : i read their policy and found the board does have discretion. they don't have to buy back a resigned membership, but they certainly can if the majority of board members agree. 1:45 martha: it doesn't make sense to me, i mean, what do they want him to do? wind up dead and then he can resign? they just want the money they say he's obligated to pay. darcy spears, 13 action news. tonight...increasing clouds...lows 72 to 75 on the west side of the valley...73 to 77 on the east side. south winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southwest to 30 mph after midnight.
