a popular atlanta based rapper is killed in a hit and run crash.... department says carlos walker - known as shawty lo - was killed around 2 this morning... police say his car caught on fire after someone crashed into it....pushing it over a guardrail. walker was throw from the car and died at the scene. two women were also inside the car. they were rushed to a hospital but are expected to survive. right now, people are going on social media, to send their condolences. someone even logged into

a north carolina teacher is now on administrative leave-- because he stomped on an american flag as part of his lecture during a civics class. a student posted this picture on facebook, showing the teacher standing on the flag, as part of a lesson about free speech. afterwards, he picked up the flag and walked out. one student followed him. parents are now pulling their students out of the class, and they're asking the school superintendent to fire the teacher. it's national child passenger safety week.. and according to federal parents should keep children in rear-facing car seats as long as possible. the national highway traffic safety administration says it's the safest traveling position for children. they recommend rear-facing car seats until your child is three, or until they reach the seat's height or weight maximum. to help you save money.. babies- r-us is hosting a trade-in car seat event through october 2nd. if you don't have an old car seat.. you can still get a 15-percent discount. safety officials say 73 percent
