and.. a devastating commuter train crash in new jersey claims one life and leaves more than 100 injured. right now a live look at the u-s 95 near flamingo. 95 northbound is still shutdown while authorities investigate. police say man wanted for questioning in a shooting case was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer when he tried to run away from police on the 95 near flamingo. detectives investigating a shooting last week wanted to talk to the man. connected to a shooting on september 22nd near boulder highway. a man was shot while sitting in his vehicle...he is now recovering. federal investigators are now at the station where it happened.. trying to figure out what went wrong. a-b-c's ray raimundi is in new jersey with the latest. nats: [of video inside train station ] this video...showing the aftermath...moments just after a new jersey transit

a university of missouri fraternity has been suspended after an incident involving members yelling racial slurs at two black students. the fraternity is part of the delta upsilon chapter. this means it's not allowed to participate in any university activities including homecoming. now other students and staff are shedding light on the culture at missouri. hank foley / interim chancellor "we've worked hard since last n these issues, unpack them, meet with various groups that are sort of at the edges of our community to tell them we care about them and bring them back and try to escape, because in the real world i can't just escape it." in a statement released by the fraternity's executive director....he says "racism and sexism have no place in our fraternity." a private funeral service was

fans had a chance to say goodbye to fernandez yesterday during a viewing at st. brendan's church in miami. the star pitcher and two others were killed early sunday morning when his boat crashed into a rock jetty. authorities are now reviewing surveillance video from a bar the men spent some time before the accident. the israeli government says it's sending more than 7-thousand police officers to the funeral service tomorrow for former prime minister shimon peres. former u-s r clinton will be among the dignitaries attending. clinton was in office in 1993 when peres helped negotiate a historic interim peace agreement with the palestinians. president obama is also scheduled to attend the funeral.. and with so many world leaders on hand.. israel says security will be a top priority. micky rosenfeld, israeli police spokesman:we are taking no chances whatsoever in terms of security, taking into consideration the important delegations and overseas representatives that will be arriving in order to be at the funeral. peres died wednesday from complications following a
