police were chasing him down.... because he's accused of shooting a man.... in the head. "i am thinking about that he might never walk again i'm hopeful this won't happen but the doctor can't give me an answer." michael ashbaugh's grandmother says.... the -29- year-old..... is likely paralyzed.... from the neck down. we're told ashbaugh was shot.... last week... as he sat in his car. the suspect and another man... allegedly fired -6- shots. officials have not the identity of the suspect. a kingman, arizona police officer is in the hospital right now with a bullet wound for a bird's eye view.. but tonight.. investigators aren't saying much about how it all went down. 13 action news anchor christopher king has been following new developments all day. ance to talk with neighbors and joins us with more on what they're saying. police have been out here since

they're combing this here. that's all because of a chaotic shootout. police were trying to serve a search warrant at a home here on miami avenue. that's when-police say-jeffrey cave opened fire-hitting one officer. cops returned fire. we spoke with a neighbor. she did not want to be identified. she tells us..the whole thing was terrifying. everyone is okay! police say.... a driver.... made an unsafe turn this afternoon... and... was hit by the bus and two other vehicles. fortunately... no childern were on board.... when the crash happened. body cameras will soon be mandatory for all metro officers who interact with the public.. including k-9 and swat members. a new study by cambridge university shows a 93-percent decrease in complaints against officers who wear body cameras. the theory is.. people are more likely to behave around a police officer if they know they're being big news tonight.... for families who were hoping the state.... would help fund their child's education!!! the state's "education savings account program" will remain.... suspended. the program allowed parents..... to spend money from the state..... on things like.... private school tuition. but... the nevada supreme court says... the program was illegally.... drawing money.... from public schools. no funds were ever disbursed.... to families. it's not often you can sit down for a one-on-one interview with one of the greatest business

nate hedlund says that racket wakes his family up around 4-am every morning. the city of henderson tells us the southwest gas facility is a 24/7 emergency site.. which means the noise ordinance doesn't apply. but.. after we stepped in.. southwest gas agreed to stop dumping until after 7am.. but the beeping is something the hedlunds will have a bizzare scene in detroit.. where man was found hanging upside down in his basement. take a look. a burglar. they finally realized it was the homeowner who forgot his keys.. and tried to climb through a back window and got his ankle caught. to make matters worse.. there was heavy rain last night and the basement started to flood.. and the rising water was inching closer and closer to his head. he was there for 13 hours before he was finally freed and taken to the hospital to get checked out.
