kaine will debate. the format will be similar to the first presidential debate with the moderator determining the questions.. but it will include a wider variety of topics. new warnings right now over a potential cyber threat that could affect the election. now we're learning that election officials in 21 states have asked for help from the government in blocking cyber attacks. that's according to homeland security secretary jeh johnson. sources tell a-b-c news that investigators believe the hacking is tie levels of the russian government. "we are doing an awful lot of work through our counter-intelligence investigators to understand just what mischief russia is up to in connection with our election," in four cases hackers actually got inside those voter registration databases and likely copied information about thousands of voters. while there's no evidence that the hackers changed voters rolls that is hackers changed voters rolls that is the

the south florida college student accused of killing a woman and her husband this summer has now been formally charged. 19-year-old austin harrouff faces first-degree murder charges in the stabbing deaths. investigators say he also bit-out chunks out of the man's face. harrouff has been hospitalized since the attack. once released.. he'll be taken to jail and held without bond. right now at least 6 people are recovering in two separate shootings in downtown minneapolis. police found two victims at the minutes later-- the second shooting happened. four victims were found there. of the 6 people in total injured, one is in serious condition.... and, according to police, one of those victims is a juvenile. right now, officers are trying to peice together what led up to all the violence. the philadelphia police department is promising changes in the wake of an investigation involving 9 officers..
