about 15 police cars blocking off traffic in the middle of the 215... there is also yellow crime tape stretching across the road.... police are looking into what led up to another deadly shooting today... this one at a gas station on the east side of town., officers tell us... it may be gang related. 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston has the latest details into that investigation. police have this whole corner taped off as they try to figure out what exactly happened inside this parking lot. the scene-- police say there was an argument between two men in the parking lot of the two men in the parking lot of the terribles gas station-- and mcdonalds-- on the corner of lake mead and hollywood. they say as that fight escalated-- thats when a third man started shooting. the victim was killed inside that parking lot. now police say they are investigating to see if these three men were involved in any gangs-- the victim does have several tattoos that might help in that investigation. they also said-- this is also typical of shootings that

the $1.9 billion nfl stadium proposal is moving toward the end zone. the question is will opponents in the assembly make a goal line stand. 13 action news reporter bryan callahan is live in carson city with the latest on the debate. it seems it has been a marathon day of discussion on the assembly floor, as lawmakers are drilling into the deal. this the stadium is in it's fourth hour. the biggest concern among many of the assembly members is the structure of the bonds that would be used to pay the $750 million in public funding for the stadium. proponents have argued the increased room tax will generate one and a half times what is needed to cover those. others have raised concerns that clark county will not get a dime of revenue from the stadium... even though it is committing nearly 40 percent of the cost.

action newsroom... of a home in the northwest part of the valley damaged by a fire. fortunately none of the six people who lived there were home at the time the fire started.. and nobody was hurt. fire officials say the fire started in the kitchen -- and are working to determine the exact cause. they were able to knock out the new at three... legoland in winter haven, florida will be closed the rest of today.. following a bomb threat at the amusement park. that threat is under investigation... officials say they belive it's a hoax, but are taking the threat seriously. legoland released a statement saying it evacuated the theme park and the hotel for the safety and security of guests.

the all clear... after getting earlier reports of a gunman near a freeway. police shut down traffic... and 3 schools in the area were put on lockdown while they investigated. authorities say it appears the gunman shot at his own vehicle. no one was injured...and there were no reports of damage. the interstate has since reopened. no word yet on what charges, if any, the gunman will face. the man accused of setting off bombs in new york and new arraigned in court today. ahmad khan rahami is accused of ahmad khan rahami is accused of detonating the bomb in new york's chelsea neighborhood that injured 29 people. rahami will be appearing in court via skype from his hospital bed. he was wounded in shootout with police... as they tried to arrest him. he now faces several charges including five counts of attempted murder. the man accused of shooting and killing 2 officers in palm springs faced a judge this afternoon. police say 26 year old john

he's facing two counts of first degree murder and murder of a police officer in the line of duty.... the officers were shot and killed saturday night while responding to a domestic call.... police in boston have identified the man who allegedly shot and wounded two officers overnight. the suspect...who is now dead...has been identified as 33- year-old kirk figueroa. police were forced to open fire after responding to reports of a person with a gun. officers think this was police spent the night searching for a suspect when they came under fire. the suspect shot officers multiple times before he was killed. in north carolina, the nightmare of hurricane matthew continues... evacuations continue... and rivers are overflowing... for many it will only get worse before it gets better. scott mclean reports.
