after a shooting at a utah middle school. taking a live look in a town called sandy, which is just south of salt lake city. police say the victim was shot twice in a park behind the union middle school. authorities say two students were arguing outside when one of the students pulled out a gun and shot the other student, the lockdown at the school has just been lifted. police do have the suspect in now a live look outside where it feels more like mid-november and we're also seeing heavy cloud cover... first alert chief meteorologist bryan scofield is tracking the changes. tonight...mostly clear. lows 59 to 63 on the west side of the valley...60 to 64 on the east side. winds generally light becoming northwest up to 10 mph after midnight. .wednesday...sunny. highs 79 to 82 on the west side of the valley...81 to 85

including the gunman... after he opened fire at work this morning. this happened in roanoke, virginia at this train car plant. police are still sorting it all out. they haven't said why the man started shooting... but believe he was either an employee... or former employee... at the plant. he took his own life before he could be arrested. attack-vo overseas -- isis is claiming responsibility for an attack on a police training facility in western pakistan. 59-people were killed and more than 100 were wounded. witnesses say cadets were their barracks and began shooting. two of the militants blew themselves up. security forces shot and killed a third attacker. here at home -- a memorial is taking place tonight for the man who was shot and killed near the caesars employee parking garage this weekend. it starts at 8-oclock near jay rank sinatra. metro says around 11 oclock friday night officers found a man shot near a parked van.

somewhere that starts with "a deer walks into a bar"... ...but this wasn't a joke. take a look -- somehow, a deer got inside a building in sheffield, alabama. for two hours, police officers and game wardens tried to coax the animal out of the building. the old bar is being renovated into a hair salon, so the deer wasn't causing too much damage -- but they obviously couldn't just leave it in there the front door and ran down the street. officials say the running deer did startle someone -- causing the person to trip and broke a bone! this next video you have to see to believe! that tree right there isn't really a tree -- it's a man dressed as one! police in portland maine tried to let him off with a warning... telling him to leave. but the man refused to so he

now at 13-action news. the nevada highway patrol is releasing dramatic video of a car chase that ended with a trooper shooting a suspect last week.... this is surveillance video from inside the auto dealership where the shooting happened. it's not clear what the suspect -- who is from arizona -- was metro is looking for whoever shot up multiple homes overnight near downtown las vegas. families woke up to bullet holes and shell casings in the area of washington and j-street. police located about 10 shell casings. no injuries were reported. we are just days away from a construction nightmare in the spaghetti bowl starting tomorrow night... the i-15 northbound ramp connecting you to the 95 will
