13 action news anchor.... lesley marin joins us live..... near boulder highway and flamingo with more... lesley... neighbors say this little boy lived here-- at the siegel suites with his mother siblings and robinsons family. from the outside things looked fine..but neighbors living around them paint a picture of constant child abuse. the apartments around this one say they knew about the abuse - th beatings they heard the investigating this as a child abuse death police say this 7 year old boy was found beaten and strangled sunday. the man accused of killing him-- 31 year old kenneth robinson. neighbors like denis martin-- learning this wasn't the first time what authorities call abusive behavior was going on in the apartment. gosh man but somebody has to come forward. 13 action news also spoke to the family of robinson's

in before any of those threats even had a chance to become real this all began with a possible threat made against desert oasis high school by a 15 year old student -- that threat - a possible mass shooting. police say they found out about this after a parent came forward saying they overhead a conversation on skype between at student at the school and another student in arizona after looking into the threat to believe it was real and arrested the student for allegedly making terroristic threats. student say they're a little on edge but just glad to be safe. if he didn't get arrested or they didn't find evidence - they didn't put us on lockdown or even warn us that could've been horrible. now police say there were never any specific threats to any one student - just to the whole high school. they also say that believe the student acted alone. they say they did recover

702- 368-22-55. get ready for traffic troubles each direction starting tonight. 13 action news anchor yasmeen hassan takes a look at some alternate routes to make your trip as smooth as possible. north las vegas, nev. - the nevada department of transportation (ndot) will begin nightly lane restrictions along interstate 15 in both directions between craig road and speedway boulevard las vegas from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., sunday through thursday night, october 31 until november 10. the restrictions are part of a $33.8 million widening of interstate 15 between craig road and speedway boulevard. the project will widen a 5-mile stretch of highway from four to six travel lanes while installing new lighting, signage and landscaping. other work calls for drainage improvements as well as widening and seismic upgrades to four overpass structures at range road and the union pacific railroad tracks. construction is expected to finish by early 2018. motorists should use caution
