police are monitoring social media posts saying -- trump supporters are also planning countr protests -- in the exact same spot. a 13 action news update this afternoon... the clark county coroner -- is identifying the would-be robber -- shot and killed -- during an attempted hold-up at a local convenience store. he's 24-year-old rashad ryan. this all happened on thursday -- at a 7-11 -- near cheyenne and civic center. police say -- ryan was trying to rob a clerk -- when a customer inside th shot ryan. detectives say -- ryan may have been responsible -- for a number of robberies in the area. right now -- a man is struggling to survive -- after he's hit by a car. he was crossing the road -- near jones and flamingo. investigators say -- he was not using the crosswalk. the victim -- was taken to university medical cener -- is listed in -- grave condition. as for the driver -- police say -- he took off -- but came back in a different car. police arrested him -- saying -- he showed signs of impairment.

a judge declares a mistrial -- in the case -- of a former university of cincinnati police officer -- accused of murdering motorist -- during a traffic stop. ray tensing --fired a single shot -- at sam dubose -- july last year. nearly a-thousand demonstrators -- took to the streets -- after today's decision. the mayor --speaking earlier. john cranley / cincinnati mayor: "this case is not over. i think we've learned throughout this process how deeply prosecutor deters feels about the case and about what is right and what is wrong. dubose's family -- received a nearly 5-million dollar settlement -- from the university -- and a formal apology. these highs well above normal will subside and we will just fall into the above normal category for the weekend. highs will drop a few degrees on saturday compared to friday.
