what may well be a long time behind bars. it will not be his first visit. he has a series of mug shots from a a series of arrests in florida. there was nothing like this. >> these guys were animals. you don't -- i wouldn't treat -- i wouldn't treat an animal -- i wouldn't treat a squirrel this way. what they tried to do was just just preposterous. what else can you say? i hope they get everything they deserve. >> reporter: the murder has left two families devastated. >> it's really horrible when you do something good for somebody and the next thing it turns out the way it did. >> reporter: it turned out to be murder. 26-year-old joey comunale was stabbed 15 times on sunday morning. and rackover is now charged with his murder and disposing of his body in a shallow grave in monmouth county. the body was burned, as well. also charged in the crime is lawrence dilione who is charged in the crime grew up near the place where the body was buried.

an adorable little piglet who has now grown into much, much more than a family pet. she's become a social media star as well as a social movement here's abc's juju chang. >> reporter: she was the bundle of joy derek walter and steve jenkins always hoped for. >> we got her as a piglet. so she was very small. >> reporter: a tiny adorable pig named esther. >> she grew up, settled into the family very quickly. >> reporter: she continued to grow and grow and grow. until derek and steve realized esther was no mini pig. esther was a big, fat pig. >> what's this? what's this? >> she is our 650-pound mini pig that lives with us in our house. >> reporter: unable to part ways, she became a beloved house pet.

they found exotic animals living in unfit conditions... taking a live look outside right now where the temperatures are dropping.... right now it's the coldest it has been all season... let's get right over to 13 first alert meteorologist greg bennett who is watching just how cold it might get.. sunny skies are back but this morning is near freezing for freezing in area just outside of the city! freeze warnings are up until 7am this morning for pahrump, sandy valley, indian springs, searchlight, laughlin and northwest arizona. temperatures within these areas will range between 25 and 32 degrees! within las vegas, morning lows will range between 37 and 43 degrees! luckily for all of southern nevada, winds are much lighter this morning and will remain as such through the weekend.
