who spent their thanksgiving in the dark. a transformer box sparked a fire near cactus and decatur causing the massive power outage. you can see how intense those flames were from this video a viewer sent in. we talked to people who said the power outage did impact their thanksgiving dinner. ernest vilkin power out for hours "you get all the candles out and you can't sit around. kind of wind down and everybody wanted to leave because the firefighters say fighting electrical fires are tricky. they had to wait for a while to make sure all power was shut off in the area before they put water on the flames... otherwise it would have caused the fire to become worse. rescue teams are still working to save the hiker who fell 80 feet at red rock canyon. the hiker fell around 5 yesterday afternoon. metro says, due to the scale of the rescue effort, it will take hours to get them off the

county jail in san jose california. the jailbreak happened shortly after eleven wednesday night some 45 sheriffs deputies, with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies, were involved setting up a perimeter around the main jail. two of the four inmates were caught immediately by a deputy who was patrolling the grounds outside the jail. it seems as if they escaped by using a makeshift rope to repel down the side of the building. rivera they all shared the same cell so we don't know how far that extends back." investigators are saying the inmates may have had outside help in escaping from the facility. the two outstanding prisoners,
