coming from the walmart stores. that could be very expensive, especially for the taxpayer because you know they're footing the bill. the mayor of beech grove, indiana, where the two women and a child were brawling, is using a new law his city passed declaring walmart a nuisance. beech grove mayor: i've had it with them. if they don't want to become a good corporate partner then hang on. in beech grove, walmart can be fined up to $2500 if police show up too many times in a month. the mayor hopes the corporate giant to hire more staff and security, which laura salaz would like to see our leaders do here. 6:30 laura maybe there should be a tax on walmart per call. that's a question we tried bringing to our leaders. north las vegas police declined an on-camera interview. clark county said they "we're going to take a pass on this." and mayor goodman's office said she didn't have time to talk about it. metro says they go where the calls are and it's up to stores to decide when they need

officers responded just before 1 p.m. to a report of about 100 protesters at kirkwood mall in bismarck, north dakota. police say protesters were asked to leave numerous times, because the mall is private property. those who refused to cooperate were taken into custody. officers remained at the mall to maintain safety. the activity did not stop holiday shoppers. two escaped inmates are still on the loose in california but made some progress scent and there have been some viable sightings. the sheriff is concerned these inmates are getting outside help. she hopes this reward money will push someone to do the right thing, and turn these guys in. elissa harrington has more. tracking dogs joined the manhunt for two escape inmates - who broke out of san clara county's main jail. they did find a scent - the animals followed it more than 7 miles along the guadalupe river - from the path off west hedding street in san jose --

much spent most of his short life at the las vegas rescue mission. lemonte fredrick and frances riven were down and out after frances lost her job. they couldn't afford their apartment, fell behind on bills, and were eventually evicted from a budget suites. they came to the rescue mission for help. lamonte fredrick: it was kinda tough, because we had never been in this type of situation before. the couple says the mission fed lot of inspiration and a lot of help because we heard a lot families making it in rough times like this so that encouraged us both to go out look for an apartment look for a job, ya know, to make sure that we were getting our things done for the kids." and they did just that... we are happy to report this family just moved into their own place -- after a long struggle. frances riven: i thank them every and each day, without them and their help there wouldn't have been no fredrick family out here in their own spot, you know honestly i felt like our family would not have
