tomorrow night and wednesday and thursday look to be just chilly with highs in the low and mid 50s . clouds do build in for thursday afternoon and into friday where we see another chance for gusty winds but rain chances will be very low. the weekend yields a breeze for saturday but sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. overnight, a man who metro says stole his parents gun and home was taken into custody. swat was called out to the home near twain and boulder highway... around 7 last night... and they finally got the man to surrender around 2 this morning. police say the man, who's in his 50s, is on probation for felony crimes. several people in the neighborhood were given the opportunity to leave their home while swat negotiated with the man. they have since been allowed back into their houses. it's been nearly three weeks

and now president elect donald trump is claiming that he won the popular vote. trump is also also blasting hillary clinton for participating in a recount effort --- launched by green party candidate jill stein. trump sent several angry tweets yesterday..including this one that reads... "i won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally." there's no proof to his claims. trump's senior advisor kellyanne conway slammed the recount efforts. it happened about a half hour outside of san francisco. the theater was evacuated as a precaution. witnesses say -- police took a man into custody. we're learning more about the mom who was found alive on the side of a country road in california -- 3 weeks after she vanished while jogging. she's saying that she jumped out of the vehicle somewhere near 5 and yolo. around 4-30 thanksgiving morning... a driver spotted 34-year-old sherri p after she had been calling for help. chp is advising she is heavily battered, and it is a confirmed kidnapping. i've got a phone number for you. i need you to call her husband. police say there was a quarter inch heavy chain around her wrists when she was found. authorities are now examining papini's clothing and those restraints, searching for for any dna evidence that night lead them to her alleged kidnappers. funeral-vm

six children killed in a school bus crash. over the weekend, the two of those victims were laid to rest. funeral services were held for cor'dayja jones and zyanna harris. both girls were one of six children killed when their school bus crash crashed into a tree last monday. jones was a part of her church's children's choir and yesterday, they sang her two favorite songs to honor her memory. (moriah stanley,children's pastor) "she was the most genuine child you could ever meet. you know when people say, that oh man - they leave everyone smiling? a for cor'dayja they really meant that." meanwhile, those close to zyanna harris are still trying to figure out how to carry on without her.
