weeks away now.....democrats on the 20th and republicans on the 23rd. and as the candidates plan ahead...nevada will likely be a focus for campaigning. for some...the results in iowa may have seemed surprising last night....but not for those who have pretty much seen it all. eric:"if i had any surprise i guess it would be that donald trumps folks actually showed up." and some established candidates thought to have a brighter future.. seem to be fading fast. like jeb bush who didn't even get 3% last night. lokken: his campaign is... i think... stumbling to a close. it was just the wrong time for him the wrong election for him and the wrong campaign for him. " eric: jeb bush's campaign never took off i hear someone say it was a failure to launch...ha ha it was the wrong candidate for this electorate. " but the closeness of the first contest...has candidates focusing on the future..which ups nevada's stock. lokken:"so as a result of iowa...nevada has risen in importance. for rubio it's

it's important for trump." lokken: and to do bad in nevada would look really bad for cruz. and he really doesn't have much of a ground organization right now. and a horse race for the democrats would fuel nevada's importance too. eric:"i think it does up the stock of nevada because...now every race counts on the democratic side....if you win one and i win and it unfolds that way. i don't see sanders running away with this...its pull away." campaigning here. lokken:"so i think we'll be seeing a lot more of some of these candidates than we have as the position of the states has changed in terms of the importance to their candidacies." so let's review...new hampshire is next...then south carolina....and then nevada. democrats caucus on saturday february 20th...republicans on tuesday february 23rd. covering campaign 2016 erin breen channel 2 news. thanks erin... the number of
