veteran was there just days ago. it all came to a peaceful end. and everyone is relieved it's over....including the fbi. fbi guy:"i can't say enough about the help from the reverend franklin graham and michele fiore." you heard him right...michele fiore....nevada's assemblywoman known for her pro-gun conservative stance was a big part of last night's tense negotiation. just last night she flew to portland help end the standoff. michele: "roads are blocked. they aren't letting people in or our. the only way i'm gonna get there is with an fbi escort. she left portland...headed to burns.....and her conversation with the hold outs was part of a blogger's live stream......and there were a lot of people listening.... for hours..... including gary underhill....here in reno. you might recall that as a member of a group called oath keepers....he took a team of medics to the refuge a few weeks ago. well....he made a second trip there three days ago

today trying to at leas talk with her by phone...but we haven't heard back from her yet. last night the f-b-i also arrested cliven bundy in portland. he faces federal charges including conspiracy, assault on a federal officer and obstruction in connection with his role in a standoff with federal officials near his nevada ranch in 2014. his son ammon bundy led the protesters in oregon until his arrest last month. and the fbi says the wildlife refuge there will remain closed for a few more weeks while they sweep the area for explosives and any computer files they may use in their case. covering the big story erin breen channel 2 news. thanks mike. the reno police department says pepper spray triggered the evacuation of a starbucks in south reno. hazmat teams responded to the store on damonte ranch after four people complained of having trouble breathing. firefighters are still investigating where the pepper spray originated from. the store will reopen later this evening. in crime beat... reno police arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery in stead earlier this week. after a brief standoff... police arrested 39-year-old wesley ford from a home in stead last night around midnight. he's charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, grand larceny and possession of stolen property. police say he entered the maverick gas station on stead boulevard early monday morning and showed a handgun before taking money from the clerk. officials now say he was the one involved in an incident tuesday... as police approached his home where he lived in stead, ford allegedly stole a vehicle and fled police, resulting in 3 schools being

officers thought the suspect in that incident was 19-year-old rylin wolfe-who lived with ford- but they now believe wolfe was not involved and it was ford all along. this is a photo of wolfe from an unrelated arrest. and reno police are also investigating a burglary at the junior achievement offices on tuesday. police say the suspects used rocks to break into the facilty on west 6th street after cutting a chain link fence. the owner of junior achievement says the thieves stole multiple servers... printers and phones. and the losses totaled thousands of dollars. if you know anything that can witness. retail theft schemes are getting more sophisticated in the truckee meadows...and it goes far beyond shoplifting. john potter shows us the "organized retail crime alliance" that's our stores. ken lightfoot has been fighting

a sparks police commander, now as the loss prevention manager at scolari's. he says there's been a change in retail crime. schemes are becoming more sophisticated...of ten going online. lightfoot: "they'll take the merchandise that they stole and sell it on ebay, or sell it to another person who will sell it on ebay." and according to sparks police, retail theft these days goes far beyond shoplifting. rodrigue: "shoplifting, in the current statistic that i read recently, is only about 58% of the loss to retail. a lot of it comes from fraud, fraudulent exchanges at the store..." john: "there's id theft, and credit card theft. the recent sophistication in retail theft, means stores are seeing new trends from thieves. here at scolari's, they've seen people looking around the parking lot...for cash register receipts."
