conference standings...dallas colodny went out to practice this afternoon, and found out why. when you go to a reno bighorns game you can pretty much expect them to break the century mark every time out. they are averaging 122 points a game this year... which is actually down from 134 points a game last season... either way that is still a lot of points because in comparison their nba affiliate the sacramento kings average 107 points a game. but the bighorns have already eclipsed last season's win total and the guys say their improvement has come on the defensive end. "we have just become a lot more clear and consistent in what we are going to do and i think that helps with the buy in from the players they like to know exactly how we are going to defend certain actions. we have also scrapped the press this year so we have just given up a lot less uncontested shots at the rim which has certainly helped our defense."

the difference this year. last year we scored a lot of points, this year we score a lot of points but this year we keep the other team from scoring points too and you see the difference in our record." while most of these guys obviously want to get to or back to the nba, they say while they are down here in reno in the about that it is hard to play, you just try to play basketball, forget about whatever circumstances there are. we just need to stay focused take it one day at a time and try and get the nba will see it and if they want you they will call you. we have a lot of fun on the court together smiling laughing joking around... so it makes the team easy to play for and easy to play with i think that is why we are winning we are having a good time." the bighorns will look to extend their western conference lead tomorrow morning when they host the erie bayhawks at 11am dallas colodny channel 2 sports.

with my mother, and it's a half-hour drive, and i am talking about the movie that i saw the night before, so she has to listen to what it was, who was in it, the plot of the movie, what i'm gonna see because i saw that movie. so one day she picks me up from work, and she hands me a piece of paper that says, "'millionaire' movie week auditions." she says, "why don't we put that knowledge to use, son?" >> instead of just driving her crazy. >> yeah, exactly. >> all right. [applause] and i know your mom is here. we're gonna talk to her in just a little bit, but first, let me tell you what you're up against. 14 questions about movies with the money values growing from $500 all the way up to that $1 million prize. >> yeah. >> every question you answer correctly moves you one step closer to that top prize. remember, at any time, you can walk away with the money you've earned up to that point. if you give me an incorrect answer, you'll walk away with nothing, until you get to those thresholds. there's two of them, one at $5,000, then again at $50,000. you also have your 3 lifelines.
