the siri's casino at 241 north virginia street in the heart of downtown reno. police have identified the suspect as 38 year old kiley grayson. he's been charged with open murder and police say he did not run from the crime scene or resist arrest. the victim was an off duty employee of siri's casino. police have determined there was a physical and verbal dispute between the two men. when the victim tried to walk away... police say grayson pulled out a gun and shot the man in the chest. the name of the victim has not yet been released. the woman who died after an accident at squaw valley over the weekend has been identified. firefighters were called out to the ski resort just after 1-30 p-m saturday on a report of an injured skier. there they found 62-year-old elizabeth danel of olympic valley. she was unconcious, and later passed away. firefighters say she appeared to have hit a tree. and sugar bowl ski resort says the body of a ski instructor who

local workers staged a protest yesterday at the tesla gigafactory site east of reno. organizers say about 300 protesters walked off the site... to protest the company hiring employees from outside nevada. russell: "we would have hoped that there was a little better protection for local workers when this went through the legislature. what they ended up getting was 50 percent local

think that's enough." senate bill one from the 2014 special session requires tesla to hire half of its workers from nevada. but these workers argue... that there are nevada workers available... and tesla should raise the percentage. we reached out to tesla for their side... and a spokesperson sent us this... "in reality, more than 50% of the workers used by this contractor and more than 75% of the entire gigafactory workforce are nevada residents, demonstrating the project's strong commitment to nevada." they went on to say that tesla hires the best vendors and suppliers for the job, based on quality, schedule, cost, reliability and reputation. a new study shows the majority of seniors take four or more prescription medications a day, and often experience challenges in managing those medications. and with the more prescriptions taken, the higher the risk of

looking around the world now... the migrant crisis in greece has come to a head... as refugees at the greek-macedonia border tried to tear down a barrier fence.

use tear gas and stun grenades on the crowd, who were calling to be let through. over 6-thousand people are stuck on the greek side of the border... some have been there for a week with little food or shelter. many of the refugees are stranded because other countries put restrictions on their borders. a greece minister says without an outlet... the number of refugees in greece could climb to 70-thousand in the coming days. closer to home... a federal judge ruled yesterday that the f-b-i cannot force apple to unlock an i-phone owned by a convicted drug dealer. the government had requested apple to break the phone's security to access the contact info of other suspected drug dealers. the judge ruled that the government can't make apple assist in the investigation against its will. the ruling gives support to apple's fight against a court order to unlock the i-phone of one of the san bernardino shooters. federal investigators have asked apple to break into 13 other phones

has complied with similar requests from the government in at least 70-other cases. president obama is set to meet with senate republican leaders today... to talk over filling the vacant supreme court seat. it's the first time leaders have met since justice antonin scalia died unexpectantly... inciting a heated clash between democrats and republicans over who should appoint the next justice. republicans say they plan to block any nominee from obama... saying the next president should make that decision. despite the push-back... the white house says the president plans to make a nomination soon... but is still reviewing recommendations, from his legal team. and this morning, sports-caster erin andrews will take the stand again in her civil lawsuit against a nashville hotel and a man who admitted to stalking her. the suit stems from a 2008 incident where michael barret secretly recorded nude videos of andrews at a nashville marriott hotel. in an emotional testimony...

the videos in july of 2009, when a friend called her. andrews is seeking 75-million dollars in the case. video clips from barrett's deposition were played in court yesterday. in them, he described renting hotel rooms next to andrews to shoot the videos. the franchise owner of the hotel maintains barrett is solely to blame. michael barrett spent 2 and a half years in federal prison for recording the videos. he hasn't shown up in court to fight the lawsuit. and nasa astronaut scott kelly is preparing to come back down to earth today... after almost a year in space. kelly has been at the international space station longer than than any other u-s astronaut. this mission has lasted 340 days. in his last briefing before heading home, kelly said he's feeling good. after he lands, he'll be flown to houston tomorrow for physical and scientific tests.

welcome back. this morning in money watch...nasa is investing in the revival of supersonic jet travel. the space agency granted a 20- million dollar contract to lockheed martin to develop a passenger jet that can fly faster than the speed of sound. nasa says the plan will make flying safer, greener and quieter. the jet would use technology to

flight. supersonic commercial jet travel ended more than a decade ago with the grounding of the concorde. concorde planes required a lot of fue, interest plunged after the fatal crash in paris back in 2000. a u-s bank is now being questioned on a corruption scandal in the international governing body of soccer. authorities say last year senior fifa officials used u-s banks to transfer and receive 150 million dollars in bribes and under investigation authorities want to know if citibank turned a blind eye to suspicious transactions. laundering laws require banks to alert authorities about shady transactions like the ones at the heart of the fifa scandal. citibank says its cooperating. google says one of its self-driving cars was at least partially responsible for an accident with a city bus. it's the company's first admission that one of its cars played a part in causing a crash.

in google's hometown of mountain view, california. the bus hit the car after it switched lanes unexpectantly. the google car was reportedly traveling at less than two miles per hour, the bus about 15 miles per hour. no one was injured. google claims it has accumulated more than one-million miles of autonomous driving and it has updated software to avoid similar accidents.
