very -- with the very latest on the investigation. good morning again, claudine. >> reporter: good morning. i just touched base with oakland police and no new developments in this case to report. they are still searching for the gunman. still searching for the man responsible for critically injuring a man as he was using this atm behind me. this crime has shocked a lot of people this morning that we've talked to. it happened on saturday morning at 9:15 in front of witnesses. police say the 28-year-old victim was using the atm when a man came up behind him and shot him at least twice. berkeley police are washing people to be alert after a the shootert then took off in a series of armed robberies in the past few days. four robberies occurred in different parts of berkeley last tuesday and wednesday. waiting car. the police say he didn't say police believe they may be much. we don't know at this point if connected. there was a fifth robbery in this was a random shooting or if the gunman knew the victim oakland on wednesday that might but people we talked to this morning said we worry about also be connected. these different crimes at night police say the suspects used a but always assumed that simple pistol in the tuesday robberies and a shot gun in the crimes on errands in the morning were safe. >> it's just really shocking. wednesday. a friend of two of the victims said she is more careful now. it's in the middle of the day.
