and good morning to you. welcome to "mornings on 2." i'm dave clark. >> good morning. i'm tori campbell. it's wednesday, december 29th. we have new information on the developing news we've been following all morning in san jose. police are investigating an officer-involved shooting. ktvu's kraig debro is live now with an update from san jose. good morning, kraig. >> reporter: yeah, good morning, tori. we're gonna get another update at 8:00 from police just to confirm all of the things we think we know right now. this is reed street near d owntown san jose. this is where the officer - -- the officer-involved shooting happened. we've spoken to one witness who confirmed shots were fired.
7:02 am
another witness said three shots were fired. from what we understand, o fficers were swarming all over the place here. this is just one of up to three crime scenes. the first crime scene is on the 500 block of locust street, also near downtown san jose. police have confirmed that there was a home invasion robbery on locust street around 11:00 last night. they say multiple suspects t here. they would not tell us any more than that. they that have one suspect in custody. we spoke to one person on reed street and he tells us he had just gotten off work and this is what he heard and saw. >> about 10:30, 10:40. i was watching tv and then i heard gunshots. i didn't know what was going on. i came out and my neighbors -- >> reporter: how many gunshots did you hear? >> i would say four.
