6:03 am
the vessel has about 50,000 pounds of crab on board. three men were on board. >> we weren't sure how we were going to get off the boat. the three occupants weren't immediately evident to us. eventually they came out and were able to get off the boat on their own by jumping as the tide went. >> reporter: luckily no one was hurt. at one point state parks and cal fire, half-moon bay police, fire and the u.s. coast guard were out here. we understand that the captain agreed to take a sobriety test for insurance purposes. half-moon bay police told us there should not be any charges filed at this point. now as far as the crab on board, we don't know if this will be a loss for the ship's captain and owner. but we've been told by the u.s. coast guard that the vessel will not move back on to the ocean on its own. so they are going to work with the owner right now. the u.s. coast guard has promised to keep us updated on the situation. and as i mentioned, this
