threatening counseling and they are threatening not replacing the librarian and we are looking at higher class size, we can run a comprehensive high school with these budget cuts. in san jose, more than 30 people turned out for a day of action rally at st. james park. most came from san jose state university. speakers encouraged them to march at the state capital on march 14th. police are looking for possibly armed teenager that caused the school to be locked down. the lock down went into effect after 11:00 this morning and lasted for two hours. the police received reports that a runaway teen was in the albany area. the 16-year-old boy's father says that a handgun and ammunition were taken from his home at the time he ran away. the flyer said that there is a guy that is armed and he is like maybe around the school

san bruno's fire chief told federal investigators he had no idea that a major pipeline ran through the city until it exploded last september. this was daycare of that disaster, carol haun was there and she is live in washington d.c. with more on what the chief said today. good evening, carol. >> reporter: frank, the chief tells me he was in the dark about the pipeline and takes some of the blame but had he known about it, he tells me he would not have change add single thing about the emergency response. >> we did not know that there was a transmission line through the city. >> reporter: san bruno's fire

chief told ntsb investigators that prior to last september's explosion, pg and e had no tip os how to deal with the pipe lines. he knew of two others running behind highway 101 because someone told him. when asked about the pipeline knowing might have helped ... >> obviously the situation on september 9th wasn't something that we could ever imagine but it does give us some opportunity to draw up scenarios and look at evacuations. >> reporter: the chief admitted he could have consulted a national pipeline system and something he learned about after the explosion. but bottom line he told investigators and us even if he knew about the pipeline it would not have changed the emergency response. >> the first report came in at airliner doubt so that was our response. if it was natural gas line spot

there's the picture. his name is mal sesma, he got shuffled into the release check and got let go. he was in jail for allegedly stealing a car from fremont and deputies are searching for him. if we get more information on this we will bring it to you. an electrical fire at a warehouse in west oakland led to the discovery of at least 300 marijuana plants inside. the fire started on chestnut street the flames caused considerable damage. >> right now we have multiple fire code violations, multiple building code violations. and numerous electrical code violations. >> no one was hurt. this is the second fire at this building in the past few months. investigators say they believe it is a pot growing operation that is not sanctioned by the city. it was a flaw in the

account. san francisco mayor ed lee visited with merchants in the third street corridor and announced that a high tech gaming firm will be moving in top downtown san francisco. kabam a developer of social games will take over 25,000 square feet of office space in a building near the terminal. the company will hire an additional 150 workers when they move in this year. federal employees are protesting budget cuts at bay area social security offices, they had an informational picket outside of the offices in oakland and richmond. similar pickets took place across the country. they say they are trying to help educate the public about the impact of the proposed federal budget will have on the social security administration. they say it could mean furloughs. >> it is really important to keep the offices open so that if somebody is disabled, their claim can be processed on a
