two california congresswoman gathered with abortion right supporters in san francisco today. the pro choice america group held their power of choice luncheon. they vowed to fight and speak up for a woman's right to chose. she said she received thousands of phone calls from people thanking her for telling her story. road work on 880 backed up traffic today. crews started the repairs around 8:30 and finished two hours later. another crew was working on a road that doesn't exist today. coming up today, tom vacar as a look inside the hole that will surround that new road and tell us about the dangers facing the

developing news. a san francisco man has been released from prison after

spending 21 years behind bars for murder. crews are outside the jail and they just sunday us back pictures. he was wrongfully convicted. this case goes back to 90 -- 1991. what you are seeing here, this reunion happened minutes ago after he was freed from jail. it was last week the juge ruled that key evidence that was destroyed was necessary to assure the trial was fair. the judge said he had no choice but to order his release. he is now a free man. baseball -- the napa hospital cares for thousands of patients. as john sasaki reports, today workers rallied to say they

. the confessed killer of chauncey bailey gave testimony today in the murder trial of yusef bey. devaughndre broussard laughed while he described shooting and killing another man. ktvu's rob roth was in court. >> reporter: testimony ended for the day an hour ago and much of it was chilling. devaughndre broussard testified that yusef bey, the leader of your black muslim bakery gave devaughndre broussard a gun and told him to kill chauncey bailey to take him out before he completes his article. >> reporter: devaughndre broussard told a jury that yusef bey referred to chauncey bailey as that blank who killed

my father. yusef bey was referring to articles chauncey bailey wrote. devaughndre broussard confessed to shooting chauncey bailey. today devaughndre broussard testified a month before shooting chauncey bailey, yusef bey ordered him to wrack the father. he told him to get the opportunity to kill him. when devaughndre broussard couldn't locate the father yusef bey told him to focus on another relative. on the stand devaughndre broussard laughed as he described shooting him. yusef bey is charged with ordering the murders. anneantoine mackey is also on trial for murder.

-- antoine mackey is also on trial for murder. testimony ended today. reporting live, rob roth, ktvu channel 2 news. the sheriff's department said a dep rate shot and killed a man this morning. this happened of hanlen road. officials say the suspect attempted to drive away, prompting a deputy trying to remove the keys from the vehicle, the suspect accelerated, causing minor injuries to the deputies. that's when another deputy opened fire. the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. another ship from japan is expected in the bay. officials are there to scan it for radiation and john is here to tell us how scientists are testing your watt urand air, even your milk for radiation.
