as scott mcfarland says today relearned about another case where the same thing happened. >> reporter: we thought this hearing might be dull, a half filled room with a lot of suits reading prescripted remarks. that changed once the man who oversees the safety of air travel revealed a second controller had fallen sleep on the job days before the scare at regan airport. >> have there been other incidents of the same thing happening? >> disappointed to say we did find another incident and we are in the process of discipline which will terminate this employee. >> reporter: it happened in february at this airport in tennessee. the faa under pressure tonight not just because of sleeping controllers but because it has yet to determine what caused the hole to form in a jet. the agency today confirmed that plane had just been inspected in march and that it's now reviewing the program they use
