good morning to you. i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. it's tuesday, april 19th. a san jose dog park remains closed this morning as the investigation into a pet death continues. the dog died on saturday after visiting the butcher dog park on camden avenue. there are fears poisoned bait might be responsible. ktvuha kraig debro is live with the tests being -- ktvu's kraig debro is live with the tests being done that could be revealed. >> reporter: good morning. who attend this park with their dogs must be wondering what is going on. take a look at the park.

they've got different surfaces and benches and chairs. they have doggie dishes and water, tennis balls. they even separate the larger dogs from the smaller. this is the area where the dogs play if they are under 40 pounds. if they are over that, they play over hee. the dog that died over the weekend was over here. jennifer tienne brought her sheltered dog, colin, to the park. and this is the first dog she's ever own. the dog came here happy and playing and left vomiting and barely conscious. jennifer says he ate something at the park that killed him. >> he was there on saturday and then he wasn't. that's a real shocker. that's just a sign of coil listen being -- collin being

bombing when a bomb ripped apart the building. we're back to live pictures. you can see people gathered in the area there. timothy mc veigh, the bomber, was put away, executed. again, this is the anniversary of the oklahoma city bombing. in other news, a santa cruz company is being investigated this morning accused of violating animal welfare. they sell antibodies to researchers. the company is being investigated by the u.s. agricultural department after sickened goats were found. the company has faced some problems in the past. back in 2005, the usda fined the company $4600 for violating sanitation rules. it is 7:04. oakland police are

investigating two separate shooting overnight. in one of those shooting, a -- shootings, one of them died. tara moriarty is live with more. >> reporter: this morning police are investigating the incident because two people dropped off a dying woman at a hospital. police are not sure if these men knew the woman, if they were involved in the shooting or simply good samaritans. around 10:00 last night, they brought the victim bleeding from gunshot wounds to summit medical center. the staff performed cpr but they were unable to save her. officers scoured the streets with flashlights looking for any trace of evidence near 30th and union. witnesses told police that they heard more than a dozen shots just before 10:00. then early this morning, just after 1:00, police resod to yet -- responded to another

shooting. officials say one male was shot and is expected to survive. police have a suspect in custody. we're put a call into the oakland police to learn more about the victim and what exactly led up to the shooting. back to you. >> thank you, tara. this morning police in vallejo are investigating a fatal shooting. a richmond man shot early saturday morning outsite a 7-11 store -- outside a 7-11 store died. investigators hope surveillance video from the 7-11 store will help lead them to the killer. 7:06. police in san anselmo warning children be careful on the way to school. yesterday, a man offered a girl a ride to school. now, girl refused to get in the car. the police is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s, had a stocky build, the girl

told police he was driving a black box-style van. after reaching an agreement with the vallejo recreation district, native-american protesters camped out another night at glen cove. now, the native americans consider this a sacred site where thousands are bury of they want to prevent a park on this land. protesters say they have no intention of leaving until the recreation district gives up plan to build there. it is 7:07. a san francisco jujitsu teacher is being praised as a hero for helping a police officer under attack. a muni fare evader was punching and tackling the officer to avoid a ticket. that's when the teacher came to
