ktvu's ken pritchett is at palo alto at facebook headquarters. but we begin with ktvu's david stevenson in san francisco. >> reporter: you can see behind me on california street hundreds of supporters and protesters who come here to greet the president tonight. >> reporter: president obama arrived at san francisco international airport at 1:00 this afternoon. three bay area fundraisers. the president is the guest of hor tonight at a fundraiser inside a private home. at 8:00 he will address and meet with some supporters at san francisco's auditorium. security is tight that hall. some paid as much as $10,000 for a photowith the president. that angers protesters outside

dinner and after that an appearance at the auditorium in san francisco. that starts at 8:00 tonight. tomorrow president obama will attend a private breakfast with 100 supporters and following that, the president will fly to reno. we will track president obama visit on our website. you can find updates on www.ktvu.com. for the first time today the jury got a look at the recorded police video in the chauncey bailey murder trial. it shows the former leader of the your black muslim bakery, yusef bey mimicking the gun shots that killed chauncey bailey. ktvu's rob roth was in the courtroom. >> reporter: yusef bey laughing over the shooting death of chauncey bailey. just four days after the shooting in august 2007 police recorded yusef bey and two

others at the police department. the prosecution contends they immate chauncey bailey being shot three times. >> "pow, pow, poof"." the attack. the stabbing happened at the restaurant where they worked. authorities say they were arguing for weeks prior to the incident. he is scheduled to be sentenced on june 20. a police officer has been fired as the department investigates how he and ort officers staffed their private security business. danny harris was fired yesterday. ray thomas remains on paid leave. both are accused of hiring young volunteers from the department for their security firm and illegally buying guns for them. >> cries from boaters. help arrived, it was prisoners from san quentin. mike mibach is live with this story. >> we are talking about convicted criminals who are living behind the gates right

janine de la vega, ktvu channel 2 news. developing news. an update on a story we have been following. we learned that san jose will reopen butcher dog park tomorrow afternoon. it was closed after a dog playing in the park collapsed and died and poisoning was suspected. the dog that died showed no apparent signs of poisoning. the park will be power washed to make sure it is safe. a republican official in southern california who circulated an e-mail involving president obama apologized today. sheads mitted she septout an e- mail with a photo of the president face on a chimpanzee. she meant it as a joke and

asked forgiveness for her unwise behavior. >> i assume i offended the black people and having friends that are black, i never even -- i never intended for that. >> the republican chairman and naacp called on her to resign but she refused. researchers found evidence that apple is tracking users. the researchers said apple is storing information from iphones using the operating system and 3g-i pads. the data is stored. we tried contacting apple but haven't heard back. iphone sales fueled a stellar 2nd quarter. the company reported under $6 billion of profit, doubling last year's 2nd quarter.
