good morning. i'm mike mibach. dave clark is off today. >> i'm tori campbell. we begin with gunfire on a bay area freeway that has critically injured one driver. claudine wong joins us from beni sha. the shooting happened off vallejo. they drove four miles to get to this mcdonald's, pulled in and walked in that door right there. this was caught on tape. you could see the car pulling into the parking lot from this surveillance video. at some point the driver is staying inside but the passenger gets out. when they get out, it appears

the driver is still able to walk. remember, he's been shot in his arm and wrist, but the chp said he was feeling woo -- woosy. you can see they get to the front part and the driver collapses on the floomplet at that point you can see everyone trying to react. one employee is a medical assistant. he went to put pressure on the wound while the manager called 911. back out here in benicia, police respond. once they realized it was a freeway shooting, the chp was call) the two victims were 19 and 20, from vallejo and benicia. the chp believe this was a

targeted shooting. they are trying to trace down leads. as far as the suspect, all we know a light-skinned man with a black ponytail, covering half his face, in a chevy that's light blue in color. they're trying to find more witness's. as far as the victims, one person was grazed in the thigh. the other person is in stable condition. that's the latest from benicia, claudine wong. we have often seen the outside of napa state hospital. however in 30 minutes our ktvu camera will get a rare look inside the troubled acy. news cameras have not been allowed inside in more than two

just a short time ago ktvu obtained video of a young driver who was wounded managed to drive four miles to benicia to get help. that victim is now being treated at the hospital.
