mornings on 2 starts now. good morning. welcome to mornings on 2. i'm dave clark. >> i'm tori campbell. police in santa rosa are searching for two bold gunmen who stormed into a warehouse. the crime created a terrifying situation for the workers inside. >> reporter: this robbery happened at the armored company in santa rosa. over across the driveway you can see a series of retractable steel doors. 15 minutes ago we saw one of the armored trucks drive into the warehouse. it is high security. there are three guards standing

by as the truck backs up. those guards have handguns and shotguns. we don't know in the robbery happened while it was entarring the warehouse or if it was the company that was robbed or the employees. these are questions the police have not been able top answer. it was just before 11:00 last night when santa rosa police got a 911 call. the call came from a company employee who was in the building at the time. he said two men stormed the building armed with guns. after robbing it, they shut the doors behind them and the two employees were locked inside. >> we had to free the employees. once we freed the employees and found they were unharmed, we have our detective crew out here.

>> reporter: the suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money. less are still looking for them. at this point they don't have a doe scription. we have seen several employees enter the warehouse. however, none of them wanted to talk to us. meanwhile, santa rosa police say there is a $2500 reward for information leading toker that arrest. we're watching the especially, especially the dow jones industrial average. it has had four straight days of 400 point swings. some analysts say the volatility could continue through november. taking a live look at the big board, it seems like a tame start. right now the dow is currently up. it was up triple digits earlier and the nasdaq is down three. s&p is up two.

welcome back. the opening bell rang on wall street just an hour ago. the final session is underway. our reporter carter evans is joining us live from new york. what are investors saying about those huge swings this week? >> reporter: i mean, it was record-setting week for the dow. the dow swung more than 400 points in four days in a row, not all of them positive as you know. today we're headed in the right direction, the positive direction. take a look. the dow is up triple digits.

it was threatened a little while ago by a report on consumer sentiment which plunged to its lowest level in 10 years. it's not terribly surprising. think about last morning the the whole debt debate. that wasn't a big surprise. the retail sales for july up half a percentage point. no, it's not a huge jump. a lot of it is gasoline, food and clothing but we want to see the consumers feeling comfortable spending. it represents two thirds of the activity. these days that's pretty good. we had a lot of gruesome reports whoever the past couple of weeks. so anything on the positive side is welcomed with open arms. back to you two.

corporate office in montreal, canada. they said three can't give us any information because they don't want to jeopardize the police investigation. you see some of the company trucks off to the left. to the right there are some retractable steel doors. about an hour ago we saw one of the trucks driving in. it's a pretty high security operation. you can see from the video three guards standing there with handguns and a shotgun. we don't know if the robbery happened we the truck was going into the warehouse, if money was stolen or personal property of the employees in the building. we can tell you what time this happened. it was just before 11:00 last night. the call came from an employee inside the warehouse who told police two men stormed the

building armed with guns. police say after the robbery the two suspects shut the warehouse's steel doors and the two employees were locked inside. >> we had to free the employees because the doors were locked and secured. once we freed the employees, we found they were unharmed. we have our detective crew in the preliminary stages of the investigation. >> reporter: the suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money. police are still looking for them. police have not provided us with a suspect description. there is a $2500 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest. live in santa rosa, reporting. the man charged in the oakland drive-by shooting that killed 3-year-old carlos nava is due in court this afternoon. the suspect is a convicted felon with a long history of violence.
