negotiations continue here at the extended stay hotel between police and the gunman. 75 law enforcement officials responded to this incident, that lasted almost all day. here is the latest from police. >> our negotiators are talking with the gunman and the dialogue is ongoing. we had voice contact and that's a positive thing. we want to keep that going and resol this. >> reporter: police tracked the gunman to the hotel. he is a suspect in the stabbing of a clerk sunday. before 11:00 this morning, one shot was fired from a hotel window. police ordered hotel guests to leave. because the shot was fired towards the 580 freeway authorities closed the richmond- san rafael bridge. authorities also closed 580 at sir francis drake and eastbound

at highway 101. that caused major traffic jams. back live on the hotel, police continue the negotiate eggs and they will be out here as long as it takes. that all is no rush. rob roth, ktvu channel 2 news. san francisco attorney tonight is charged with raping three women who responded to his ads on craigslist. eric is live with more. >> reporter: we got a chance to look at the ads mosted by mikem hoffman and they sought sexual encounters. one of the women met him here. he is now facing charges. >> reporter: he says these were

the ads he posted. but now three women say it was rape. she went to police after it happened in march. >> she ran out of that house with her keys. when she had one opportunity to get away she ran out and went down an elevator. >> reporter: [ inaudible question ] >> i think that is part of the risk. >> reporter: his attorney insist his client played those games for year and many women responded. >> when it happened between consenting adults it's not a crime. >> reporter: now a jury could have to answer that question. hoffman is sitting in jail on

$3 million's bail. >> if we have additional information that indicates there may be more victims or a change in circumstances we look at any and lof that information. -- all of that information. the victims were 36, 19 and 25 years old. one of them insist the ad she responded to was not violent at all. live in san francisco, ktvu channel 2 news. the bart police union is the latest target of hackers who posted the names, addresses and passwords of more than 100 bart officers today. ktvu's alex savage is live in oakland. >> reporter: this list with officers names, homedresses and paz words, all of -- passwords, all of it posted online today and now the fibis investigating -- the fbi is investigating.

>> reporter: 100 bart police officers are on alert after someone hacked into their website. his home address was posted online. >> in one word, i am angry, up set. they are criminals in my mind. >> reporter: investigators tell us today's attack was likely in response to a decision by ballet last week when they shut down cell phone service inside the civic center station. anonymous threatened to retaluate against bart but the group denied responsibility saying the leak today of bart officer data could be the work of those who support anonymous. stay skeptical. the bart passengers sympathize with protesters but think posting officer information is crossing the line. >> great to protest because i think there were wrongs, but

detainees are forced to wear restraints, even if they are not considered a flight risk. lawmakers introduced legislation today. she co authored the bill spard by the kidnapping of jaycee dugard. it allows the board to consider the severity of the crime in deciding whether or not to grant parole. guidelines focus on behavior behind bars. they hope they will pass the bill before the session ends on september 9. the department of corrections acknowledged patrol agents famed to supervise u.s. supervise jaycee dugard's kidnapper phillip garrido. one agent who spoke with jaycee dugard never questioned her presence in phillip garrido's home. a safety alert on a roadway already known to be deadly.
