morning. fog was all over yesterday, but it is chewed up because it is losing support today. the temperatures -- a lot of 50s here. since june and july and august, in the 50s. you will usually get the upper 60s, the sea breeze is still there. everybody out to the big valley. the west wind at seven in the big valley. if stockton is getting a best wind, you know it will be a cool day. one to the north and then the next one to keep us on the cool side and then tomorrow, the high pressure will build. until i see the whites in the eyes, i will wait to see.

and the california highway patrol cars here. the police said that there were other agencies working together with the automobile theft task force and this all started with a report of a stolen vehicle. police officer garcia will have more on what happen just after midnight. >> the investigator w's the task force detected this vehicle as a stolen car. i don't know how they got that information, but when they tried to stop it, there were two people in the car. a 31 and 40 year old man. two police officers discharged firearms, a police officer and a california highway patrol. i don't know which individual was shot, they were taken to the hospital with non life

threatening injuries. the other suspect is down at the station to be questioned and the investigators from the homicide department are here to process the scene and they are with the d.a. office and we hope to get more information when they finish up the investigation on what led up to this. >> that is the big question that is what led up to the confrontation. a 31 rear old man has died, homicide is here? >> homicide will investigate all officer-involved shootings, fatal or not. that is the reason that they are here and as they process the scene and interview the two suspects, we will be able to provide more details on why they were in a stolen car and the police officers with discharging their firearms. more on what led up to that shooting and the other elements
