. they have just picked up road work which has been very slow because of a full freeway closure and that was a troubled spot just a few minutes ago. also looking at a troubled spot near the interchange and traffic is light on the 101. i want to mention westbound 80 you can see there is a closure on 80 coming out from university avenue. traffic looks like it is narrowing down so if you will be going out any time soon give yourself some extra time.

you see the truck backing up this will be gone soon. we are following developing news out of tehran. word came overnight all the necessary signatures have been obtained and two american hikers jailed in iran may finally see freedom after more than two years behind bars. we have been following this story. >> reporter: there have been several new developments, it appears they are several minutes away from their freedom. lawyers entered the compound about an hour ago and two swiss embassy cars were seen entering and at this point we are waiting for confirmation that they are free. shane bauer and josh fattal were in prison along with sarah shaw who was released but the

two remained in jail.$♪ a couple of years ago they were tried and were sentenced to eight years in prison for those crimes but negotiations to get them out continued and last week the first signs that a release was imminent came when mahmoud ahmadinejad told the u.s. media that shane bauer and josh fattal would be freed as a humanitarian gesture. over the last week there have been some ups and downs. bail was set at $500,000 each and there were reports that somebody put up the money. why they would put up the money is unclear. it's just away for them to ease tensions between iran and u.s. and would also ease tensions. either way the money was posted and there was a delay with the

signatures. two were needed and one judge was on vacation until yesterday. overnight the attorneys said he had gotten all the necessary signatures from the judiciary officials and hoped they would be free today. at this point they are waiting, where they will go upon release is unclear. we are watching things carefully in tehran and we will keep you updated. news news. a woman who worked at the bakery, they found her body inside a bathroom last night. they looked into reports of an argument between a man and woman outside earlier in the evening but they found nothing suspicious. they searched for the gunman who wounded a five-year-

back, yesterday was 86 and i am going 74 today. san jose 64 and 60s for everybody else. southwest at travis, calm san jose calm santa rosa. it is trying to ramp up and so far it is held in check. there are really warm temperatures over us. by the coast, i think peninsular and north bay will cool down a few. inland, to the south bay and to the east bay it will take another day. 90s inland yet over by the coast 60s and 70s and there is a big huge difference if you live in areas if you work near the city you will notice a big drop in the temperatures after yesterday's really warm temperatures it really rolls in friday and with the weekend rolling in it will cool down

been in prison since 2009. three hikers crossing into iran, the two hikers shane bauer and josh fattal were convicted over the summer of he is among -- he is bee among and trespassing. at this point they are finally free for the first time in two years. where they will go now is still unclear. when sarah shaw was released she went to the embassy and that's because they actually put up her bail money. there are reports they actually put up the money for these two hikers and and it is possible they put up the money for them and they may go publically thank them. we will continue to follow

view oakland all in the 60s southwest at travis, just a little stronger than yesterday, but just an indication that may be that sea breeze is trying to show itself. the fog is there, it will start to work its way in. high pressure is parked right on top of it and it is not allowing it to do much accept by highway one. afternoon will be cooler coast and bay and that sea breeze does kick in, maybe a couple of degrees cooler and it will still be warm and maybe it will cool off well away from the coast. for others you will drop a good 10 to 15 degrees so 60 to 100 degrees, hot inland cooler coast and here comes that fog for thursday and friday. inland it will still be warm to hot and we will cool down a little our clouds coming in by the weekend. nasa scientists are doing
