downtown area. let's go back to the desk. right now a potential showdown is looming, reports of a police raid have objecting buyers but they have been starting on new ground. they loaded four buses on treasure island this morning, at justin herman plaza, she joins us with more. >> reporter: they have been waiting all night for police to arrive, but really the general feeling is let's be ready, they will be here soon. motorcyclist of them were on the other side of this encampment, they had a debate over which side they wanted to protect because they don't want police to take down these tents

during the violent clashes between police and occupied protesters but coming up, we hear the mayor explain why she was not there and think the critics so say she was not there. the oakland school board has decided to close 5 elementary schools. yesterday after afternoon there was a march to the school board meeting for a final hearing before the vote. the school district closings are necessary because of state cuts and funding there are plans for more schools to be closed or moased america year. it is offering five acres,

were huge muny buses that were here and they were supposed to take all those buses to justin herman plaza but moments ago we saw officers getting off those buses and getting into individual cars. a lot of them we are told will be going back to their individual stations and they are in stand by mode all day until the chief says, let's hit it guys and they will be actually going down to the stations -- from the stations at a moment's notice so it is possible you can see around the city five cars leaving at a time from individual stations and where they may be headed to be justin herman plaza. these are people standing here on their bikes and if you notice they have been standing at the plaza letting them know if it is on when it is off, moments ago we heard cheering
