they are standing guard blocking entrance to the plaza. you can see it has been very peaceful and it was peaceful even through this raid. we want to show you some video we just to the from a student protesters. they gave a dispersal order to park up your continued and close town. virtually all of them made their way out as they continued to leave. two people decided to stay, one was a student and one was a nonstudent and they are being booked into jail in oakland on charges of failure to disburse. once police cleared out the folks from the plaza, it took

about five minutes and they started the clean up process and that's where we are as it stands now. with police blocking entrance and protesters are on the line waiting to go back in. there is a curfew and obviously we are at that time right now but the cleanup process is taking longer. let's pan to the steps, we just saw them move a couch out of here, obviously a pig heavy couch, you have what is left of the tempts and it is unclear how hop it will take them. they are going through it methodically and they will not let anyone out, this is the time that students come for

classes and staff starts to arrive for the business of the day. claudine wong ktvu channel 2 news. well the san francisco public works department says there is a standinga order -- a standing order for them to move their tents or be evicted. we will have a lot of time for the san francisco order that was the van liced pie demonstrators. now they warped the area here and they were mainly college students. once inside they sprayed graffiti on the walls set up attend on the lobby floor. police warned them to either leave or be arrested but dozens chose to stay inside. they want to highlight the role major banks have played in the financial crisis. >> we want to bring attention

that banks are benefitting from the crisis and also from accumulate willing student debt so it is more of a p r thing. police did arrest 90 charges including trespassing. soon they will not be allowed and those without permits will be told to take town their tents. this comes after they rejected the permitting process and passengers with permits will be allowed to stay. protesters in new york are scuffling with police. we want to take you there live, we have been monitoring the situation, protest started peacefully but police started to move in and that's because

striking workers are scheduled to work in carlos b and loop road. organizers tell us they are expected hundreds of faculty members to walk the picket lines here today and faculties from all 23 are expected to travel here and take part in that protest. they said the administration agreed to pay raises put never paid those increases. if cal state university cap afford to pay them pause of budget cuts. >> they too have been cut by the state and they have deemed it necessary to the season in this way and they have replenished by making students pay a lot more.

police officers are still in riot gear standing guard making sure nobody gets back in while they get this area cleaned up and back into service by the time the school day is started and school is back in business. we will show you what happened as it all happened from a student protesters, he stayed in there as lop as he could. there were 20 at the time and most people left peace fully within that five minute window. two thirds of the tents were taken away however several people were arrested. you can see a man holding and cat and protesters tell us that man's name is alex and he decided along with one other

person not to leave when police told him to leave. he was taken into custody and one person said they shoulden arrested dash. >> they wanted to be arrested and failed to comply with the special order, and currently they were arrested for failure to dispurse on that push order. >> we are seeing them continuing to clean up over the last few hours or so and we have seen them take away couches and furniture. again if we come back out live, police are on standby but if you take a look up at the stairs, you can see most of the stuff is gone. the students we showed you at the very beginning of our

it didn't take berkeley firefighters to figure out what parked an overnight house fire. homeowners woke up, a paper bag filled with ashes from the home owner's fireplace caught fire and set the patio on fire. they did make it out okay. el comino is shut down at 380 and the off ramp is closed as well. this is where the incident occurred, near 380 and they have been out there for hours. police will not say much but it looks like it was a wreck of some sort. there is something else going on and let's look at the
