francisco camp may be numbered. there may be new sign that police will soon move in and evict all of the protesters. the department has reportedly canceled all upcoming vacations for officers. constituent has declared the camp a public health nuisance after finding feces and urine there. they say the tents to close for people people to move safely. the sleep over is there newest tactic after police moved in and forced them to remove tents last week. police say last night was peaceful and that nobody was arrested. >> occupy santa rosa protester was evicted by police this morning. 26 campers were asked to leave just before four because they didn't have permits. they were given 40 minutes to pack their belongings and go. 18 tents were allowed to say. they had applied for and received permits. >> people are reclaiming

6:00 p.m. we have a crew there and will bring you live coverage. >> a man who fled the bay area as a fugitive 42 years ago entered a plea today for shooting at a police officer in 1968. ronald bridge fort plead no contest to firing at the officer. it was the same plea he gave in 1969. he eventually came back and satled in michigan as a college counselor. his attorney hopes he will be sentenced to probation when he returns to court in february but prosecutors are promising to ask the judge to send him to prison. >> testimony started today in the civil rights case involving former bart police officer -- one of five officers defending themselves in the lawsuit filed by bart passenger. he said the officers used excessive force and violated his civil rights. two station agents and former police chief were called to

it's okay. it's all right. listen. >> reporter: he held a campaign style rally at a high school. he pushed for congress to approve his job creation bill and to extend and expand the payroll tax cut that will soon expire. >> the average working family would get a tax cut of more than $1,500. that's $1,500 that would have been taken out of your paycheck would be going into your pocket. >> reporter: he said congress will get the chance to vote on the tax cuts next week. the reserve is ordering the top 31 banks to have a stress test. banks with 50 billion after or more will have to show they have enough cash reserve to with stand another economic crisis. so-called to big to fail banks like wells fargo and bank of america will also have to show they will ba able to continue lending if the event of a down turn. >> a weak report on the economic growth pushed stocks

down again today. the commerce department reported the economy few at a 2% yearly rate in the 3rd quarter. they also reacted to new concerns about high borrowing costs for spain. here are today eclosing numbers, the dow off 53 and a half points. the nasdaq dropped two points. >> retail analysts expect holiday spending up slightly but mostly because of inflation,. a survey found about 70% plan to control their spending this season. 88% plan to spend the same or less as last year. the survey found 6% plan on unrestrained shopping. according to financial a sifts there is one fewer thing to be grateful for, inflation. many prices have stopped rising as fast as a few months ago but

thanksgiving dinner is telling you the true story. that's because the cost will set you back another $6 for a family of ten this year. that's a 13% increase from last year. >> there is a new occupy camp in oakland tonight and it is different. we are in west oakland and this site is on private property and you have learned there are questions about whether they have permission to be there. >> reporter: they are. they say they moved in to this site about 7:00 last night. let's go to the shot and you can see how it's developed. there are now more than a dozen tents here and a dining area in the back. they say they moved here with the owner's blessing but that owner is now saying that's not true. the latest occupy site sits in a partially empty lot in west oakland. today they say the property owner is facing foreclosure and

they picked this site to draw attention to troubled homeowners. >> we save his house and they redo her mortgage. >> reporter: today they got these records showing just yesterday the owner was served a notice her property may be auctioned off because she is defaulted on her payments. she said this morning she never gave permission for the people to move in and said they get away with whatever they want. today we watched as supporters stopped by to drop off supplies. >> i feel like these guys are camping for me because i can't. i feel absolutely a part of this i feel like they are doing it for me. >> reporter: most neighbors say they don't want them here. >> i don't feel comfortable with this. you know, it's just -- a lot of media attention, you know it's kind of brought a lot of extra cars to the area.

>> reporter: police say they have been in contact with the property owner and she would have to make a formal complaint to have them removed. we have tried calling her again this afternoon to discuss the ongoing camp and she hung up on me. for now we are live in oakland. >> authorities are using surveillance images to try to catch a vandal targeting banks. investigators have released this photograph of the suspect. police say he painted grafitti on at least three banks over the past several days. it's thought he wrote the word foreclosed on one bank, at a chase bank he left the picture of a face mask and in concord a bank was painted the words anonymous and foreclosed. >> the university of california said it's delaying its decision on where to locate the second campus. most of the lab's 42 had not employees work at the main facility in the berkeley hills.

the real question is the timing on this system. the computer model -- i talked to steve this morning, very early and we both -- we probably have 50 years of experience looking at these models and we were both saying we haven't seen a time where the model was so out of sync. that means, that every model run changes a bit. here is what i know right now. it looks like tomorrow, late in the day showers will start to increase on the north bay late in the afternoon. then light scattered showers should move in by about sunset. san francisco, redwood, san jose you won't see it until after that. it does president look to be a big storm. the timing is definitely looks a little sketchy. i will get you as close as possible and into the 10:00 news i want you to tune backn. i will show you the latest model because they change every few hours and we will try to get it down.

it's not often i say i'm not sure. it's the timing and the reason it's important is this is a big holiday weekend. a lot of you are traveling tomorrow. down here is a secondary low and as it starts to shoot down its stalling the system out and split splitting it apart. here is what i know. it's not going to be horriblely wet thursday. there will be showers overnight wednesday into thursday morning. the timing is difficult. here is what i would say. tomorrow clouds increase. light sprinkles showing up. drizzle in the north bay. ten, 11:00. the light showers move south over the bay area. late in the day and then overnight we get this frontal passage which is short and fast and that gets us morning rain
