pet. we're live with more. >> reporter: good morning. one woman told us she will be thinking about her neighbor this weekend praying the family is all right. investigators got a call of a stabbing at this house around 9:30. the contra costa county sheriff's department says a man was stab and the family dog, too. we talked to a neighbor out here who says she's lived out here for decades and she says nothing happens out here. >> i said wow, nothing like this ever happens. i saw the man he was bloody. his legs were moving. just hoping he's okay. >> detectives are working to see what led to the argument. so far, no one is in custody. lorraine brawn i do, custody.

all right. happening right now -- there's a live look at the macy's thanksgiving day parade this morning. those signature floats making their way through the streets of new york city. giant helium-filled balloons are as much of a tradition as the turkey dinners are for tonight. it takes a lot to actually move those balloons up and down the street. it doesn't look like it's that windy. 85 years we've been watching this parade. this is the 85th year. and 3.5 million are expected to

good morning. san jose, cloudy skies. a light breeze there as our rainy conditions slowly come to an end. this morning police in oakland are looking for suspects in two overnight shootings. investigators say a man was wounded at 79th avenue and plymouth street shortly after 11:00 last night. another man was shot at 50s and international a few hours earlier. both victims are expected to survive. police do not think the two shootings are connected. there are signs that microsoft wants to be part of any yahoo! deal to sell all or part of its business. there's word that they have an
