this is a new video we shot of heavy fog in san francisco. right now a fog advisory remains in effect for the bay area, until 9:00 a.m. the drivers are being asked to slow down and use cautious. the wind is pushing some of that fog out and it could cause other problems and we will keep on top of those as well. this is interstate 880 which is moving along nicely as you pass the open coliseum. at the bay bridge toll plaza, traffic is moving along but here sat the toll plaza it does look good, there is a little bit of a slow down here. and driving into a telephone poll, the poll is down, it is not causing a huge back up but there is some activity there.

as you drive on the freeway, southbound traffic is passing 182. let's go to steve. it is starting to lose and it is still summer out there and it starts at the delta southern lake county. the winds starts at 9:00 a.m. and takes us to 6:00 a.m. thursday. gusts will be up to 65 or 70 and not only for northeast hills or any of the higher elevations qualify. that brings in some of that fog from the valley and it has in

. a one-year-old boy who was shot in the gun battle is still in critical condition. family members are telling ktvu channel 2 news that while he is still in a coma he was able to squeeze his father's finger. we also found out he was in his father's arms when gunmen opened fire in a liquor store parking lot monday night. his father tried to shield the little boy but a bullet passed through his hands and hit the boy in the head. >> he is a fighter, he is going to make it through it, keep him

fog advisory and -- dense fog advisory and you can see our system is moving to the sacramento valley and we have a dry upon which will not bring any rain. the wind is beginning to pick up. a lot of 40s here but once that come through by noon it is gone. we will go sunny and windy later and i believe that is the first 60 this week. i believe they have been 58 to 59 since sunday. it is the one driving straight down into northern california right there, that will be the source of our win. then the wind advisories 50s and 60s for temperatures and we will go from a cold pattern to windy pattern. overnight lows, it if it is not

cold it will have less wind as we go into the weekend. the number of private sector jobs increased more than any kind this year. 6,000 new jobs were created, and small businesses left the information in hiring. they showed what the unemployment numbers could show and it could include both private and public sector jobs which could be released monday. this company said it could be included in a real estate trust that could be open to public investment and the company said they will release more information when the company files papers with the s.e.c. next year and it is one of the

with four special circumstances they include murder of a peace officers and murder during a robbery. a man while serving in afghanistan will also be laid to rest today. the body of josh coral will be buried hundreds came to pay respects and he was killed during his first tour of duty in afghanistan. his funeral service is open to the public and begins at the fellowship church in dapville. and he is due in the bay area today. shawn walsh was killed while on patrol two weeks ago. his body is expected to a arrive in mountain view and that's at 2:00 this afternoon.

there were raids including in 2 u.s. cities. this is a live look at los angeles. you can see police moving around as the chopper flies overhead. there are still protesters and police there and things have calmed down now the police raid started shortly after miss night and they moved in on occupied demonstrators who revised to leave but most of the campers packed up and moved without a struggle. they ordered the demonstrators to leave the tent city they had set up almost two months ago. it was a similar scene, this was philadelphia overnight and police actually tore down the tent city near stall. it went up in that time which

the wind that is sweeping in clearing out that fog. we went that you there and vallejo, venetia that tends to get really jammed up with fog even when other places are cleared out. you will not see signs warning you about heavy fog as you approach the bridge eastbound direction. coming through again, this is the vallejo and whatever winds might be coming through is what we will do and we will head over to the venetia bridge. we did stop off and see how they are when willing the fog and compared to yesterday, it

is backed up except if you are in the carpool lanes. also it looks good if you are driving from the bridge into the city . >> we have tweeted this, 23 miles per hour, out of the northeast, and right above mission peak, if it is above mission peak it is high up. the delta and southern lake county have a wind advisory and that's the lesser of the advisories and the high wind warning will be stronger for areas above 1,000 feet. i think you could easily see gusts over 70 and that starts at 9:00 a.m. and it is up to 30s for some, we are in line for some good gusts here. the north wind for vacaville we still have an easterly

bars. dow jones industrial average is almost 400 points and we will talk about that in a moment but first let's go to sal for traffic. good morning, it is busy out there and one of the things we have been watching is fog and it is blown out by the wind. earlier i came in and looked at the pictures around 4:30 and now we can see on interstate 880 in oakland and it means steve is absolutely right about the gusty winds that is blowing away the fog and anything else, if you are driving on a bridge and have gusty winds, make sure you have both hands on the steering well. traffic in san jose, a little slow approaching cupertino northbound.

6:50 let's go to steve. thank you sal. we went to a quarter visibility and it is kicking in 30 atop mission peek and we are looking at 23 and that will take care of the fog. there is still another fog advisory and the high wind warning will go from a dense fog to high wind visibility and north winds is already beginning in the valley and north at 5:00 still a him the of an easterly breeze san jose 100 feet visibility and thick fog but i don't think it will last too much longer because

the wind is already showing itself. it does until 9:00 but things are starting to improve rapidly. it will pack wind and cold air as we head towards 30s and 40s and right there, that is going to give us some of that fog to push it around a bit, the big news will be the wind as it begins to crank up and then it is out of here with the weekend always in view. saturday will be very cold especially inland and it will be sunny and a little bit warmer. >> thank you steve. well hewlett packerred is suggesting they could spark a fire and we recently discovered a security flaw.
