law. and at franklin middle school, parents saw thieves steel money, it happened last night during a campus. two men in hooded sweatshirts walked in and stole $700. that money was supposed to pay pore instruments and other equipment as well as teaching time. if you have any information about the theft please call police. cuts will take affect january 1st. funding for the school buzzing program will be eliminated. the school systems will each loose 1 hub million dollars a -- $100 million along with inn home support for seniors and residents. governor brown hopes to bring a

. welcome back to ktvu channel 2 news. a san francisco bicyclist could face jail time for a collision. the incident happened in july. police say 23-year-old randolph ran a red light on his bicycle and killed a woman. that woman died of head injuries. he is now charged with vehicular man slaughter. >> what i am trying to do is ramp up public education efforts, prevention is a key here on a we want to make sure -- and we want to make sure the rules of the road are there for

passed the coliseum. also this morning we are looking at the bay bridge toll plaza. the bottom line is you may see fog unlike yesterday, there is a lot of mist on your window and water that you have to get out of there so it will be just a little bit of a different start to your morning commute than it was yesterday. and as we look at the bay bridge, we are clearing the road work right after the toll plaza, a couple of lanes are closed and it's so early it is not causing a huge delay. westbound highway 4 looks good from west point to antioch and heading to walnut creek and the road work is not a major

issue. 80 traffic looks good all the way to penol and no traffic on the richmond bridge this morning. traffic off to a nice start westbound 92 and san mateo bridge looks good to the shore way. we did have an earlier accident in the south bay. you still may see it out there on the road out on the shoulder so use caution, let's go to steve. sal is a little bit of a different forecast this morning. clouds have moved out onto the bay. we didn't have any advisories this morning and we have had a freeze warning issued for the north bay. it goes until 9:00, most lows

are running lower this morning. it is only the north bay, other temperatures 25 to 30 and even warmer than that a little closer to the coast because we are getting that fog. this system will bring us light rain and then we go high and dry again. low clouds, fog sun, temperatures are not going to warm up very much, other locations will struggle. we will bring some rain in thursday clearing out friday and guess what that system deepens and breezy on the weekend it looks quiet but the mornings will be really cold. uc and cal state officials are unusual. the reason recent actions of campus police are being scrutinized today. a discovery that now has police involved, we will have
