conversation with him. reporting live in berkeley, kraig debro ktvu channel 2 news. time now 6:32 an overnight fire means that business will probably be closed for business today. there was a fire in the kitchen. it started just before 10:30 at a strip mall on center road. firefighters think the fire started in the kitchen and the cause is still being investigated now. it will be closed until repairs are made. tomorrow is sentencing day for barry bonds. he will return to where he first gave grand your are you testimony. he was later convicted for lying to the grand jury for that steroid use. prosecutors want to send bonds to jail for 15 months and the

upstream high pressure will build and that low will really intensify in southern california so it looks like a wind event especially for the sierra. breezy as we head into tomorrow and today partly sunny skies, highs in the 50s, extended forecast, near 60-degrees and tomorrow will be dry as we go into the weekend and things will look rather quiet again. thank you steve. they are boosting their forecast for the holiday sales this year and the national federation is expecting sales to increase 4.8% and that's up since the october forecast. now if the prediction is accurate, holiday sales will hit a record. now delta airlines, they are hiking their tickets for a round trip and all say they have matched delta's fair hike.

but southwest has not budged on its prices and that could lead to the airlines rolling back increases as early as this weekend. well the american cup yacht race will be the focus of negotiations today and why the environment will be the major issue for those talks. the local industry that is planning on adding thousands of jobs next year, we will have more on that, stay tuned.
