small piece of equipment that may have saved their lives. and a video that even has steven tongue-tied. >> the next one, oh, my gosh. i don't know what to say. >> let's just say this woman dropped something at the store. >> ooh! >> you'll find out soon enough on today's "right this minute" "countdown"! we begin our "countdown" today with our number 20 video, and guys, this is a sight that you possibly have not seen before. we got this story from kc 24. in fresno, california, a car ended up on the roof of a house. >> i thought it was a prank like you've been punked or something. >> the man you see being wheeled away in the stretcher was 26-year-old benjamin tucker. benjamin allegedly stole this

car and was driving too fast. he jumped a curb and hit a stump and a boulder, flew 20 feet through the air and landed perfectly on the roof of a house. >> i've been a police officer for 22 years and i've never seen anything like this in my life. >> it's amazing it didn't go through the roof. >> like a perfect ten landing. >> it looks like santa claus put the car up there. there's no way a car would go that fast at launch and sit there on the roof. >> do you guys think he locked the doors and stuff before he got down? if he didn't put the locks on, he put the parking brake on. >> benjamin tucker, according to police, did break a leg and get several scratches during the incident. but he fled the scene. >> i can't believe he jumped out and tried to run away. >> with a broken leg. >> but police did catch up with him a few blocks away and that's where you see them taking him on a stretcher. >> there's the car right now being hoisted down by the giant

crane. >> police are investigating whether drugs and alcohol were involved in this incident. >> let me save them a little bit of time and money -- yes. >> they said after the police did find him a couple of blocks away, he was sobbing as they took him away in the stretcher. >> he was sobbing? just like me. the next one, number 19 leaves you wondering how this guy even survived. >> imagine having to carry around a 200-pound weight with you, everywhere you go. every day of your life? that's what life was like for this 32-year-old vietnamese man that we're seeing in this video. the video is coming to us from toy t trah news. what you're seeing is a 198-pound tumor. that mr. hai has had growing on his body since he was a little boy. this is a disease called

neurofine roh matosis, and it's a disease that causes tumors to form on nerves in someone's body. this tumor is thought to be the biggest one on record in vietnam. and it started out at the base of his spine and then sort of snaked around and moved up his back and around his thighs. mr. hai recently went through a 12-hour operation. the operation was done by a leading u.s. surgeon named mckay mckinnon and his team of eight people to take care of this thing. dr. mckinnon has successfully removed other large tumors in his 30-year career. and for this operation, he waived his fee to operate on this guy. >> how incredible of the doctor to do that. >> the tumor looked like it weighed more than the guy himself. >> right. >> i have to say the tumor was successfully removed and this guy is recuperating from the surgery. the thing was a big health issue. he had to get this removed. you can imagine the big strain

that this tumor had on this guy's heart. >> it's living tissue, he must have had to feed and all the blood that had to go to that. >> yes. >> it was totally killing him. >> he lived in fear every day that this thing was going to take his life. terrible, terrible storms in brazil this week and the pictures from all of that are right here at number 18. in brazil, at least 35,000 people have been displaced due to heavy rain. check out this video, you can see the torrent that's come down. you're looking at hail. whether official there is expect 12 inches of rain over a six-day period. one area, 4,000 people had to be evacuated because a dike broke and it warned through streets in the city. eight people have died and they fear that number could go higher. >> you can see the strength at which the waters are just

rushing out. >> look at the little dog. >> yeah. >> poor little guy, doesn't know where to go. >> i hope someone scoops him up. >> me, too. >> in four states, including rio de janeiro and sao paolo, entire towns evacuated because of this weather. >> if you think about the clean-up they're going to be facing after something like this. just all that water. >> you don't want a lot of damage done. because there are going to be hosting olympic games coming up in a few years. so -- this probably isn't going to help when you have communities that you're going to have to rebuild because of this. at number 17, you may have seen it, it was incredible and record-breaking. but now you get to see the video behind the scenes. >> every year, red bull does a big new year's eve stunt show. it's called new year, no limits. this year was no exception.

this is the behind-the-scenes of a dual jump. this whole stunt took place in san diego, with levi levalley, a sproe snowmobiler and robbie madison, a pro motor crosser. >> we've done a lot of tests over the last two days and we've had all kinds of different weather. 400 feet is a long way. >> i think the last thing i would want to do is walk up to the edge of the ramp right before i do this. >> this is a huge ramp over about 300 feet of water. they do this jump side by side. if you notice look at all the fog that's been going on that night. >> if we can see the landing from the jump, i'd say it's at least we know where we're going. >> you can see robbie on the dirt bike take off first. leavo follows behind on the snowmobile.

just burn you guys up inside. i know. we're watching video of four teens, who call themselves wreck locals going out on a vandalism rampage in south philadelphia. these guys were so proud of the damage that they were doing, they decided to shoot the entire scene by themselves on video. oh and of course, post it up on facebook. >> those are child geniuses right there. >> you see them spray-painting "wl" for wreck locals on street signs. boasting about what they're doing. then they walk up to this parking lot. and just -- wreak havoc on cars, spray painting their initials, wreck local all over these cars. they kick off, a side-view mirror. that's not enough, they get up and start stomping on the hoods and kicking in windshields, watch. >> [ bleep ]. >> the entire time can you hear them laughing and boasting about being wreck locals.

at one point they must see somebody, or get scared off, and they run off, sort of screaming, actually. >> like a little girl. [ screaming ] >> screaming for his mommy as soon as he's arrested. i'm sorry, momma, i didn't mean to do it. >> one suspect has turned himself in and has surrendered to police. he will be charged with vandalism. a second suspect has been arrested and will be charged with 17 counts of criminal mischief and related charges. and because of the amount of damage, this could be a felony. their own camera wasn't the one caught in the act, they were also caught on surveillance camera. philadelphia police released this video showing the same group of vandals on that i spree of stupidity. you spray paint on somebody's car in the middle of the night and walk away? you're a loser.

showing how effective these cameras can be in catching vandals, we showed awe video of a vandal caught in texas. this vandal has been caught. he is 21 javier lopez junior. he grabbed $700 in cash, two laptops were taken from the school in addition to doing $35,000 worth of damage. put that juvenile behavior away and replace it with something very childish and a whole lot of fun. our number 14 video. >> we take our cars to work every day and spend a ton of money on gas. i always wish we wouldo back to when we were kids and drive our big wheels around. ou knohae guys from go pro got together to film the annual bring your own big wheel event in san francisco. >> we missed it. go pro is a camera that you can strap to, tell us about go pro.

this dog video should serve as a reminder for humans and their four-legged friends, that they need to be careful around icy ponds. a good samaritan spotted a golden retriever, had fallen into a lake in la junta, colorado, you've got a firefighter on his belly and another one holding him back. you know, dragging his dog out of the water. he of course was rescued and is back and okay with his family. >> i want to point out that what the fireman is doing is the best way to rescue a person or an animal in the ice. you're supposed to lay flat across the ice for more surface area. it keeps you from potentially falling in. >> whether forecasters say they want people to be aware that even though lake was frozen over, if it'[ mike 50 or 60 degrees and sunny, the water is defrosting and they could fall through the ice.

and i think little kids have the best advice i've heard for being safe around water. >> you shouldn't go on frozen water. >> because you will drown. we have a tie today for our number 13 slot. why don't you tell us about both of these stories. >> we've got a couple of cases of women behaving badly. the first, 36-year-old carmen tish who decided to visit an art museum in denver. she was apparently drunk and took offense to this paintsing. so carmen allegedly scratched the painting, punched the painting, she tried to pee on this painting. then she peed on herself. >> any time you get near a painting in a museum, there's guards away. >> this is 157 "j number 2" it's worth between $30 million and $40 million. we don't know why she did this. >> maybe an altered state of

see what you think. this is pretty adorable. you're looking at a dinner table conversation between 2-year-old ava, with her mom, lilly. ava was born deaf and lilly and her husband, actually, are both deaf. and so in their household, they communicate through sign language. >> wow. >> this is just normal meal time conversation at this household. >> this is awesome. >> she's so cute and seeing her do sign language, at that age, is unbelievable. >> this video was posted back in november. but it just started going viral at the new year, because there's actually a cause attached to this video. many people who have deaf child have trouble communicating with their child. and so the national deaf children's society wants to make sign language courses more accessible to families all over britain. so this video is to help raise awareness about what

and it shows lincoln, rhode island police officer edward crawitz, kicking this woman in the face. and this woman, donna leveck is already handcuffed. she was let out of the twin river casino after allegedly assaulting a man inside the casino. as donna was sitting there handcuffed, the officer, officer crawwitz was looking for her i.d. in her purse, as he began going through her purse, you see donna kind of kick at the man's shins. and then he hauls off and kicks her in the face. this video is from back in 2009. but officer crawitz, this week is on trial facing felony assault charges. >> you know it looks like he knocked her out. >> what's crazy in the video, one officer goes and touches her on the shoulder. but the guy in the suit who comes up? he doesn't even notice. it looks like he doesn't even see it. >> he is not a police officer,

cooler. the only thing left after their boat sank. two men and their 11-year-old sons were in the water for about 45 minutes, hoping and praying to see this rescue helicopter show up. they drop a life raft into the water. it immediately deploys and the men are able to get their sons out of the water and into the boat. luckily everybody was okay. one of the men was injured. he had a fishing lure stuck in his leg that started to pull him down. as the boat started to sink. this boat right here, the intrepid, caught fire in the engine room and before they know it, the thing started to get heavy in the back towards the stern of the boat. it was shocking how quickly the boat sank. they bought this boat two weeks ago. >> what a bummer. >> i'm amazed as how they were able to hold on to that cooler in that water. because that water is not smooth and still. >> all i would be thinking about

would be, what's underneath me right now. how many sharks are coming around. >> i got to say the coolest thing about the video is the rescue raft they drop in the water. it hits the water andboom, the feet of water. it's going to stay where it is, no chance of salvaging the boat. >> the fact that everything went according to rescue plans and that everybody is okay. it's pretty amazing. it's a different kind of hit-and-run. >> what are these guys running from? >> that's the question. and the answer is what makes this crash countdown-worthy. and could motorcycles jumping through the air make it into our top three? that answer, you'll have to stick around to find out. cable can't bundle cell phones.

video that's just starting to go viral. now when your friends ask you if you've seen that one from oklahoma, tell them you did. at number two. >> a crazy and scary day for some people in oklahoma city. let's get to some dash cam video from a metro city bus in oklahoma city. approaches this red light, watch closely, because things are about to get hairy. >> whoa! >> boom. car runs the red light, smashes into this red pickup. into another car. and stops just short of this city bus. but it ain't over. before the car even stops, four guys jump out and take off on foot. you can see police were in pursuit of this car. chasing these suspects. so -- what are these guys running from? >> you noticed some loud noises comi from the garage. ndthe next tng i know, these guys are suspected of attempting to burglarize the home of dustin hawkins.

oklahoma city news 9 talked to dustin. here's what he says. >> they turned the door handle a couple of times. realized it wasn't locked. that someone was in here. i was holding it like this. and they tried to kick it in. >> they went through the house, swiped the laptops off the desk. they took the flat screen off the wall. they managed to get away with some other electronics, including a gaming system. that's where we pick up on the dash cam of the suspects running the red light and crashing. >> but they weren't hit by a police car. they just hand omly hit at the intersection and that's what stopped them? >> they ran red light trying to get away from the cops and they hit the red truck. >> exactly. >> i can't believe the speed at which everything happened. the speed at which they ran the red light and how quickly they jumped out of the car and started running. >> police caught up with three of the four suspects and dustin did get some of his stuff back. so by now, you all know what time it is, it's the time when

i've got some surveillance video for you guys, of what looks like a robbery of a convenience store. but you'll be surprised who comes to the rescue. this video is a little bit older. but a lot of people on the internet are talking about it now. >> a man walks into a store in vancouver, canada, and he has a little bit of an argument with the cashier. and then watch. he moves the little, little swinging door away and goes behind the counter. he grabs something. but look, this man in a wheelchair, he comes by and look -- puts this guy in like an mma-style chokehold and brings him down on the ground. now the guy in the wheelchair is larry skopnick, he broke his back ten years ago in an atv accident and that's why he's in the chair. >> you notice how larry took the guys down and the other guys go, whoa, maybe we should get involved. >> he was coming to the rescue
