a school bus. >> it's only because of where he was when the bus rolled over him that he did survive. >> we're going to the food olympics. >> doughnut 5k, eat a doughnut, run a thousand meters, eat another doughnut, repeat. >> meet the team with intestinal fortitude. >> it's all about pride. >> you know how sometimes you feel like you're going in circles and cannot stop. >> a kid who won't get dizzy is spinning toward number one. but he's got to compete with the dog who just won't get bored. with a rock. it's all coming up on the rtm top ten countdown. we begin our countdown today with our number ten video and nick has it for us. >> if you're going to go out and get into a bar fight, better be prepared for the consequences. the video is being shot by zac plat. this man here was involved in a bar fight inside a bar in harrisbu harrisburg. commonly known as restaurant row or sort of bourbon street of

harrisburg. according to the crowd you hear, the guy on the ground was tased in the rear. the guy in the white shirt trying to help his buddy out. cops give him ahove back. trying to kphe situatio rowdy people. >> whoa. >> cop gets back in his face. it looks like it's all fun and games for some of these guys. before you know it, they get into trouble too. you see a guy gets detained there and now zach. >> i didn't do anything. >> no, no, no. >> as far as i know and as far as the police tell us, zach was not arrested. but what do you think? police brutality or just doing what they're supposed to do. >> we, obviously, saw one of the cops at the beginning of the video be very aggressive towards that guy in the white shirt. >> when the cops are making an arrest like that, you're not necessarily supposed to crowd around and poke fun at the guy who's being arrested. >> shot him in his -- >> the cops are performing an arrest and there is other commotion going on and it gets

really close to the cops, i think their instinct is to protect themselves. >> i would only take issue with the cops targeting people who are using their video cameras to record this incident. the guy that we saw on the ground at the beginning of the video, was charged with disorderly conduct and the city and police departments are both conducting an investigation to see if there was wrongdoing. >> yeah! our number nine on the rtm countdown, some of the most incredible pictures of the week. >> i want you guys to see these very dramatic images of an explosion that happened in guatemala. this is south of the capital in guatemala in an area called [ inaudible ]. >> a lot of black smoke. >> that is a huge plume of smoke caused by a collision between a tanker carrying 7,000 gallons of gasoline and a trailer truck

carrying textiles. the driver of the tanker lost control of his truck because of the mechanical failure and he ran into the trailer truck that was parked on the side of the road. five people in both of these cars did die. this happened on wednesday, but yesterday, the families of the five people that died in this accident, did identify them and they all range in ages between 20 and 33 years old. one police officer who was in the area was also injured by the explosion. >> oh, wow. >> you hear one explosion there and less than a minute later. yet another explosion. >> look at that. like a giant mol la tov cook tile between the textiles and the gas. >> it was a perfect combination to cause such a massive fire. you see the fire spreading to this warehouse that is just off the side of the road. i did find a second video. once the fire had been put out

that was captured by one of guatemala's leading newspapers. >> there's barely anything left. >> there's nothing left. everything was completely charred. >> and no one was able to escape. >> no. >> it happened so quickly. >> reports said that it was instant and all the five people involved died immediately. we're headed to the number one video on our rtm countdown. at number eight, every parents' nightmare. i have a story about a first grader in oklahoma. this little boy is 6-year-old ian knight. ian got off the bus on tuesday like he would any other day on his way home from school. >> i was walking in front of it and it started going. >> ian tried to outrun the bus but the bus knocked ian on the ground, face first. the driver never even knew that

ian was hit. you can see in these images that there's blood on the gravel from ian's head. ian had to get staples. >> oh, wow. look at the staples. >> makes me sad because you can tell from the video he's still shaken up about this. still visibly upset this happened to him. >> this bus outweighed ian by 29,750 pounds. so it's pretty remarkable ian survived this ordeal and only because of where he was when the bus rolled over him that he did survive it. if he moved over a few inches the bus would have run over ian. but instead the bus only ran over his book bag. the superintendent says that the bus driver did nothing wrong. >> the driver was not on the phone, he was not texting. he was doing his duties. and just unfortunately just didn't see the child. >> i could see how the bus driver can miss them. those buss are so high. if a kid is pretty tiny an walking in front of the bus you

could miss a child that way. i'm just thankful and happy he's okay. >> the bus driver is on admin stray ittive leave, as they investigate this situation. ian is expected to head back to school soon. we've seen volcanos but nothing like this at number seven. >> any given year there are roughly 50 volcanos that are active on the planet. and one of them erupted on sunday. you're looking at the niyamura volcano in the democratic republic of thecongo. here's the thing this area is the home of the mountain gorilla which are endangered species, but officials there say the mountain gorillas and the 20,000 hippopotamuses that live there, are not in any danger. >> this is on my bucket list. i want to see an erupting volcano in my lifetime. >> every time i see images like this of a volcano erupting it

reminds me how remarkable our planet is and alive it is. >> it's weird. like doesn't even look real. >> the volcano is the most active volcano on the african continent. it's in the verunga national park. in 2011, the lava flow from the volcano flowed 21 miles. in 2002, the lava flow covered 15 million cubic yards. displaced 350,000 people. and destroyed 14,000 homes. >> you're saying this time it's like a baby eruption, not so bad. >> a baby eruption. medics carrying a heart for transplant are in such a rush. >> that they -- >> no! >> oh, yeah. >> see the fumble that's a heart stopper. and a serial jumper who keeps going and going. >> what is going on?

welcome back to the rtm top ten countdown. we're at number six. are you hungry? >> if you guys can't wait for the london 2012 olympics they're kind of far away. well, feast your eyes and i mean literally feast your eyes on food olympics that just went down in 2011. group of guys from collegeville, pennsylvania, put together a series of running and eating events to test the stomach and test the fitness of their group of buddies. they did a doughnut 5k. eat a doughnut, run a thou santorum sand meters, eat another doughnut, repeat. a soda shuttle run, chugging soda cans and sprinting back and forth and did a milk gallon four

by 400 in this video. many of the food olympic athletes in this video lost their lunch, tossed their cookies, if you willp. >> they're taking this extremely serious. >> food olympics. this is the pinnacle of food sports. these guys who ate a bunch of doughnuts, chris and dave, are joining us via skype. some of you are competitive runners. right? does this help in your training or hurt in your training? >> i can't say it has any positive impacts on my real running training, but it was a good way to test mental toughness. >> how many people are involved in these olympics? >> i would say we had about ten competitors. we've gotten feat feedback from other schools saying they want to bring their teammates next year. there could be 50 people at the next one. >> what do you get? >> it's all about pride. the champion, jay adams, topped off his victory eating three funnel cakes and going to a pizza place. >> oh, my.

they're looking at him like all right, kid. >> people walking right by him. the ladies are like whatever. >> you can spin, we get it. you know how to spin. still spinning, i suppose. now at number two, our runner-up, a car care story. i want you to guess what's about to happen. >> so when your car gets stuck, you always call your buddies to help out. well in brazil, no different. but things didn't go exactly as these guys planned. >> they're trying to push it and looks like the brake is on or something, it's not moving, not budging. >> maybe they didn't put it in neutral. >> whatever it is it's not going where they want it to. while they're trying to push it another car goes by. >> i would like to point out it is never a good idea to be at the front of a car trying to push it when the car is facing down a hill. >> this is when the real action starts. they finally get the thing moving, they push it, they have it pushed about a foot or two. >> oh. >> then it starts rolling. >> i called it. >> everybody's got to get out of the way and the car uncontrolled

goes down the hill. boom! >> wow. >> at least get one of them inside the car while you're trying to move it around. >> right. >> so something like this does happen, somebody is in there that can put the brakes on. >> maybe he was trying and he was too slow. see the guy on the left. >> almost smashes him up against the wall. >> i know. he doesn't have any shoes on number two. >> the guy in the red was trying to stop it for a second. holding on to it. >> weirdly it like kind of goes over to the right of the road and parks itself. right here looks good. perfect park job. it has the smashed bumpers. >> i'm in. so i know you're getting pretty anxious at this point, thinking, oh, my gosh, what is number one? we're almost there. just hang in there a little longer.

i haven't been on a pair of roller blades since i did this to my space and chipped some teeth and, you know, smacked myself up pretty good. >> that's what happened. >> yeah. just over tucson, arizona, doing stuff on roller blades that it's frightening. only two wheels, a front and a back, a space in the middle to grind on these rails. i think those are the roller blades you wear for doing stunts. >> it's got like a niche to grab ahold of the bars. >> coming up with knowledge about something with wheels. >> yeah.
